So...Prince's pay website has problems with Capitalism?
I like the recommendation, but it does seem ironic. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

I like the recommendation, but it does seem ironic. that's for sure; showing a clip that points out the vulgarity of poverty versus those who have so much wealth really is not a good PR move imo!

Prince calling out "Capitalism:A Love Story".
What a joke...both Fatso Michael Moore and Prince are part of the top 1% money earners around the world, period. Especially Prince for his $77 website that has added little if any value to its consumers from its inception. I would hardly take any advice from Prince on which political movies to see. What a joke, Princey.

What a joke, Princey. OH NEVERMIND! Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Hello! What was the "slave" on his face period all about then? I thought it was all about freedom, the ability to create and the ability to profit from your own work! Heck, what is the you-tube ban about if Prince believes that everyone should have equal access?
This truly disappoints, for it does not represent the "Prince" he has worked so hard to make us believe he has become! [Edited 10/22/09 21:47pm] Wake up!......Wake up!

It's on my must-see list as well, but it's not playing in enough theaters. Rave isn't carrying it, they're based out of Texas, so of course those idiot, fat cat republicans won't show the film. The Carmike isn't showing it around here either. I'll wait for the DVD/Blu-ray. "Greed is Good." -Gordon Gekko

What a joke, Princey. Actually, that makes it more significant, IMO. The common opinion is that once you make enough money, you can afford to forget about everyone else...is it not? I'm pretty sure the movie isn't out to say 'don't make money', but to analyze our particular form of capitalism which (shockingly) isn't as egalitarian and free as it makes itself out to be. ********************************************

In my humble opinion I find extreme capitalism as bad as communism.
A new system has to arise from the bottom of the muddy pond. It will only happen from the bottom up. [Edited 10/23/09 13:21pm] "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -

Actually, go see the movie. People see "capitalism" in the title and make assumptions about what the movie is about. Prince and MM may be rich, but they are not in the top 1%. Also, they both do some good things for charity. What a joke...both Fatso Michael Moore and Prince are part of the top 1% money earners around the world, period. Not only do the rich have the money, but they corner the market on morality.

Micheal Moore's movie is put out by Paramount Films a subsidary of Viacom. Prince is primarily independent but must partner with the likes of Target, AEG and Universal for survival. I applaud Prince for encouraging people to see a progressive and enlightening documentary that will open minds to important issues. Your negativity is so elitist and contrary to political mobilization. Did you vote for Nader and indirectly GW?

What does any of that have to do with Prince being one of the top 1% money earners in the world. Even Microsoft needs partners (Dell, HP, etc), that's completely irrelevant to who the top 1% or even the top 0.001% of money earners are. There are 6.7 billion people in the world, that means there are 67 million people in the top 1%. I suspect at least half are in the US, which is about 10% of our population. so if you only need 47, 500 to be in the top 1%, are the rest of us who make that or more filthy capitalists, too? Should I not recommend the movie because of that?
