2003 Calendar Delivery?

I bought the 2003 Calendar the first day on December 26.

Does anybody know when it is expected to be shipped?

Has anybody received it yet?

In classic NPGMC style, it will arrive in April after 4 months of it is gone and useless

You should be grateful the Calender was even made. Prince never promised he would send it to you right way. How selfish of you!

Ordered mine on the 28th and paid for the 2nd Day Delivery ($16.50!!) and still haven't received it. Although my credit card has been charged!! I've written constantly to Archway and no one has bothered to return my notes. NPGMC has but their hands are tied and they can not help. I even tried the 800# at Archway's site but it was an incorrect number. This will definitely be the last item I order from them. Not getting the product is one thing, being charged for it and not getting it really stinks, not getting it-being charged for it-and getting no feedback to multiple emails is just unacceptable.

Maybe you'll have it by June...

Why not make a 16 month calendar?

I ordered it on Dec 26th. I'm living in Paris. I sent an email a week later and they answered that it usually took 4 to 6 weeks by standard delivery.
Mmh. I won't see the January page before February don't you think?

How funny that someone who believes that time is a trick would put out a calendar.

I tried to purchase the calendar but everytime I went to check out it had coupled with my calendar order - the CD Box Set that I already have and did not indicate I wanted to purchase another. I would clear my shopping cart out and start over - but the same thing. I e-mailed regarding this issue - the answer indicated I should be able to order separately / or on its own - but when I tried again after the e-mail - it said sold out. A few days later, I tried again and it went back to coupling my order for the calendar with the CD Box Set.
I e-mailed again. Lucky you - at least you were able to order without this system problem reoccurring over and over.
If anyone had this experience and knows how to get rid of the coupling when I check out, please let me know.
Thanks

NPGMC should ensure they honour last year's club membership before embarking on selling further merchandise. They shouldn't try doing too many things at once!

(later)

Okie, I received my box set today. Prince has my blessing to send out calendars now wink

Got my calendar today. Last year I had a crappy Fender guitar one so it should be cool to change each month.

Arrived in 13 business days.

I'm not trying to sound too negative, but it just strikes me very funny that everyone is so pleased to have received thier NPG calander on or around Jan 14th.

IMO, any retail business would have had the 2003 calenders available in Late November/Early December, and made damn sure it was in the hands of the customers well BEFORE January 1st.

I think it says alot about our lowered expactations from the NPG/New funk business.

New disclaimer on the retail site follows:

*PLEASE NOTE: When u pay 4 2-day shipping, it is from the time the order is processed, not from the time the order is placed. Orders r typically processed in 24-48 hours, and then will be shipped according 2 the method u chose. Please keep this in mind when choosing a shipping method.*

My vote would be to improve the service instead of offering a pre-order Xcuse for why we don't receive our items in the time frame we paid for them. Be the industry leader instead of the wanna-be.

It simply is like that. 3-4 days isn't fast enough?

{It simply is like that. 3-4 days isn't fast enough?}

I clicked on an item to order via the website on 12/28/02.
Went to check out and was presented with the option of paying an additional $10.00 for 2nd Day Air delivery and did so.
I received an email confirmation telling me I placed the order on 12/28/02 and requested 2nd Day Air Delivery and here's my total, have a nice day.
10 days later I still haven't received my delivery.
So you tell me why is it "simply like that". I've sent things 2nd Day Air and you know what - it gets there in 2 days, not 10.
It took many many emails to straighten it out and I just got the $10.00 credit to my account for the additional charge - which I'm thankful Lori took care of.
I just wish it didn't have to be such an ass backwards process. Its not difficult to only promise what you can deliver. Sorry to vent I just would like the NPG to set the example for excellence not inefficency.
