It's so easy. A dream NPGMC If only...
Dear NPGMC, Here are the details of Year 3.. This year, there will be no membership fee. Instead, existing members, and new, will be held on an NPGMC members register. Your fam name and password will be your ticket to new and exciting developments direct from the Park! You will be able to support the artist, by purchasing new music, videos and merchandise, direct from the music club. Now that Prince is free, he will make available music as he chooses, and give you, the fams, the first chance to purchase it. No CONtract for him, no CONtract for you. Whenever new jelly is available, our mailing list will inform the members of the good news! We will also mail you direct information to pre book tickets for any future concerts and events. This is what freedom sounds like! 
Its sooo simple. The fan who liked year 2 are uneffected (but $100 better off). The fans who felt cheated, have no more promises to be broken. The fans who didn't join, can now do it, for free. Prince gets to sell his wares independently. Princes club will grow at a much faster rate. Prince is not held to a form of contract with the fans. Prince gets to tour where he likes. Prince gets a profit for his artistry. Prince is number one at the bank. Hell, he can even get non member concert goers the chance to fill out their email details on their seat. The club could be huge. The bigger it is, the more likely they will press more discs... Everyones a winner baby! . |

SquirrelMeat - great idea and so simple. Only one thing, it does not give Prince an 'advance' payment that can sit in his bank account accruing interest while he decides what to do. Sure the man must have a lot of cash but I suspect he uses the membership fees to cover production costs etc
However, cool idea dude! 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything. | |

However, cool idea dude! He can get round this too. By releasing Cyrstal Ball 2, he can sell without new production costs. He'll have minimal distribution costs (how much is another plastic petra disk?). The he can take his newly made money, and use it to fund the next production cost. Not that he's short of a quid or too already... . |
