Listen, you don't really have to be a rocket scientist to update a website. If this website is up to modern standards, it should have a content management system and an automated back-office for the digital content, unless the webdesigner isn't near as professional as they made him to be. Nowadays, you can put a reasonable amount of digital content on a website in a matter of days. If it takes 6 months, like with Lotusflow3r, that's a serious indication that it has been a deliberate choice to offer this little content to its subscribers. I'm also certain Prince does not want further material released yet. Otherwise, such material would be available, such as the recent videos. However, it is an annual membership and until this expires it is difficult to judge the content delivered and if it was 'worth' the money, however subjective that may be. For me, in the UK it has been worthwhile already, because 'Lotusflower' on import costs £30 here and I paid £50 to join the website. I appreciate for US purchasers it may not be such good value yet. Do not misunderstand me. I would like further material myself. I desire it. I'd certainly like at least one unreleased album (or more) before the year expires. [Edited 8/10/09 10:59am] | |

I'm thinking when the annual membership rolls round we all chip in for 1 membership for one guy and he(or she) can keep an eye on the site and let us know if there's any decent additions?

The reality is that Prince has little respect for anyone but himself. Take his actions and apply them to any "regular" person you know and you'd think they treated people like crap. Don't know why it's different for Prince. I still hold out hope, but not if he can't see his way past his disregard for the people that pay his bills...  |

P is only covering his butt against the BBB. As long as put throws something up once in a while, he's covered. Same with the live dates...he can say there were concert tix available. As a website of choice It's the bottom feeder 77 dollars in 77 ways I'm never support another Purple website faze. I am willing to bet a lot of people will be VERY leery after this.
