Is lack of communication the NPGMCs biggest problem?

I really wish that the people at the NPGMC would be more direct in their answers to questions. I asked for a simple confirmation that the 4 CDs we have received are the whole year's allocation, but a simple yes or no just doesn't seem possible.

I just want a straight answer.
Is this too much to ask?
Maybe it is. sad

Hi there,

Thanks for the ONA Live box set and the ONA studio CD ... I was just wondering, does that count as the 4 CDs for this membership year - if it is then I can stop checking the web page for info.

Thanks in advance for your help,

BTW this thread is about getting clear and honest info from the NPGMC, not about whether the club is good value, so any responses in the following categories can be considered off-topic (IMHO).
(1) 4 CDs = 4 CDs - you do the math.
(2) you have been screwed - accept it.
(3) u should b grateful 4 what we have received.
(4) i want more CDs too.

okay... 100$ : 4 cd's = 25$ for 1 cd...

sigh

25$ for 1 disc!! ludicrous...

(2) you have been screwed - accept it.

accept it yes,
respect it, no

I must admit I said my bit about the MC. A lot of things were/are lacking.

I must also admit that I at least can understand some of the complaints. To say the least; some of the complaints the MC got were valid.

Lots of miscommunication could have been avoided if only the MC would have been clear. Now they let their members speculate and build up tension. All of it unnecesary.

If the 'lock-down' (is it?)of the MC means they are forced to think about thir presentation, then it is a good thing. I just hope that they can translate the criticism into something positive; 'positivity' being one of their 'thangs'.

A 'club' brings people together and the owners/keepers of the Club can do lots of things to make things better.
It is no fun that a kewl guy like Prince does not get enough props on Prince.Org for at least being OUT there to a certain degree. If only he would accept criticism graciously and DO something with it it would make him an even kewler person.

Also, I hope that Prince and his crew realise that to most people here joined the MC becuz they care deeply about the music. And about the man that makes it.
I just wish that some fans out there also could make the distinction between the man and his music. I care for the music. And for the last few years his output is hard to reach for a not-fan. You need to have a computer. You have to pay a $100. To me no problem, but to others it is. I just wish his music was ACCESABLE. I have the feeling the MC just made it harder. And forces more fans to side step to bootlegging.

But so be it.

YO GOOEY the club shouldn't have a KEEP OUT sign on the door like it is right now. YO how would HE like it if HE waited all night and paid 100 to get into a club, then once he was inside the VIP section, the bartender handed him the menu and then walked away and leaves HIM waiting until 10 mintues before closing time with something that wasn't on the menu. id grab my coat and pound the lack of communication into the head of the jerk. Thataint funny.

At least this is slightly clearer:

Dear Al,

As far as I know, this is the last shipment for this year.

Peace, Lori

Interesting that it wasn't "last shipment 4 this year". I do genuinely feel sorry for the staff who have been forced to act as intermediaries in this affair - it can't be easy dealing with loads of pissed-off members.
