Lotusflow3r.com support: "t-shirts dispatched almost a month ago" On the 30th of July I kindly asked for the status concerning the Lotusflower T-shirt. Today I received an answer and put it up here for info for those still waiting and looking 4 some info.
Hi Sander,
I spoke to our T shirt manufacturing company a few days ago, and they confirmed to me that the last of the shirts were dispatched almost a month ago. I am going to forward your information to them so that they can chase up the tracking number for you, and I will make sure to pass their findings on to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, please let me know if the shirt has already arrived. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. Lotusflow3r.com support

Damn... folks have still not received their t-shirts? If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I got exactly the same e-mail... and still no t-shirt!

I also got the exact same response just a few days ago (Sat Aug 29th).
This means it is a so called 'canned response' ; ie a standard response to a common question. I wonder how many T-Shirts still have not been mailed out. The count in this thread is now 3. Quote from wikipedia on canned responses: Canned responses are predetermined responses to common questions. Rather than typing again and again the same answer, or pasting from some other resource the operator can insert a canned response triggered by keystrokes or from a drop down menu. Some programs have built-in functions which allow canned responses, and other software is available which can insert canned responses into any other application.
In fields such as technical support, canned responses to frequently asked questions may be quick and convenient for both the customer and the technical advisor. Imagine that technical support at an ISP is asked to explain how to add an attachment to an email. Rather than typing in all the details, the support person, chooses the response from a drop down menu and it gets inserted into the response. The support person is more productive that way, and the user receives a more carefully crafted answer. Canned responses, however, can be a double edged sword. Sloppy or pressured support people could end up using canned responses as a quick fix when they actually don't really resolve the customer's problem or are only tangently relevant to the user's problem.

me too it's probably the realisation that if people would sign up, after seeing your tshirt, they would kick your ass the next time they ran into you... i know that's what would stop me from wearing it. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I really should complain but I don't know if I'm that bothered - just another cock-up from another badly run 'official' Prince website. Deja vu.

Firstly I know its not the point, but You are not missing out on much, it's a horrible piece of tat. Dire printing, worst I have seen in years. Worse than the bad boot t-shirts u get outside croke park! I know you want it anyway, quite right too. "My God it's full of Stars"

I still have not received it (Netherlands), and honestly I don't care. The LF style is not something I would wear in public.
There is not really anything promised before I joined, but I'm sure I will not stay on LF. (By the way, the 'rules' say you have to cancel your membership or else you will be charged again for next year. Keep that in mind!)

Haven't received mine either. I know Amsterdam is not that close to Minneapolis (or anywhere else it was shipped from) but even by rowing boat I should have had mine by now. I love Prince and chocolate - in that order
