Interview (in German) on Lotusflow3r

To all who thought the site was dead, lol go to Lotusflow3r.com in the News section for an interview about Montreux.
An intrepretation would be nice, Anyone?
Hopefully video will be coming soon! cool

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Ok, am not German so can't catch all of it but the interviewer talks about how Prince is playing in Montreux, how the tickets sold out in seven minutes and how he wrote a song especially (In a large room with no light) for the festival(at least I think he's under that impression that it was written especially for it). Rhonda says that European audiences are great and this song on the site was given as a thank you to them or something like that. The interviewer says that it's possible that Prince will play a third free gig in the Montreux Jazz cafe and asks Rhonda if it's not stressful to play three gigs in one night. She replies that it isn't.

That's about as much as I got, you don't get to hear very much of Rhonda or Renato because the interviewer is translating over them so he lets them speak for a split second and then translates over them, it sounds a bit comical!

(music: In a large room with no light)

Prince has written this song just for Montreux: In a large room with no light. You can listen to this song on the homepage of the Montreux Jazz Festival since three days. It's a groovy mix of soul, jazz and funk. Exactly the right thing for the musical general store "Montreux Jazz Festival", and, besides, this song indicates how Prince's music will sound like in the future as Prince's keyboarder Renato Neto says.

We recorded this song rather fast for the Montreux Jazz Festival. The song gives an idea of what we're going to do in the future. The new projects will be more open, more jazzy. It's a kind of free form. It will be always different, it will be never the same.

Prince was in Montreux in 2007.
His only performances in Europe are at the little town at the Lake Geneva tonight.

The song In a large room with no light is also a kind of a homage to the jazz festival as Prince's bass player Rhonda Smith says.
We are delighted to be able to do this for Montreux because Prince loves also Europe like the both of us. The European audience is just great. It's the ideal little present. Somehow we're saying "thank you" with this song.

Prince is performing even two times at the Auditorium Stravinsky tonight. All of the 8,000 tickets, the most expensive for nearly 300EUR, were sold within seven minutes. In Montreux, there is a rumour going round that Prince could maybe perform once more later in the night but then for free, and at the Montreux Jazz Cafe.

Three performances at one night, isn't it too exhausting?
No, no. You know, he's an entertainer. He's one of the last who can do everything. We just did three shows in L.A. Technically, this is a bit less stressful here.

What Prince is going to play beside In a large room with no light even Rhonda and Renato do not know. Eleven songs are planned per performance and some of them from his new album. But Prince is always good for surprises.
One thing is certain already now. The only performance of the American in Europe this year will also be the culmination at the end of this year's jazz festival.

In fact the ORIGINAL is MUCH better. You can't take the Revolution out of a Revolution song.

That's right I spoke about a bootleg. Feel free to delete my post.

I guess Prince figured that if we'd cough up $77 for Lotusflow3r, we'd have no problem plunking down $500 for the Rosetta Stone German-language learning program.

Why is that news entry titled "Prince Opus"--just an error repeating the same title from the previous entry?
