Who is Claude Nobs, and is what he said correct?

Yes Claude Nobs said at the end of the 2nd show these would be the only shows in the world by Prince this year but articles before the festival talked first of Swiss exclusivity and then European exclusivity. So that claim has got progressively bigger. Surely Prince of all people would not allow someone to tell him he can't play again all year?

OK, he is the founder and head of the Montreaux Jazz Festival.

If what he said is correct, then all you "Hey, be patient with Lotusflow3r, it's only been 4 months" people don't look so smart right now.

He was a bit of a knob. People were cheering for Prince to come back and he was all 'he's already left the building.' And if the part about no more shows 'in the world' (and he did put extra stress on this) is true then yes lotusflow3r website has been a BIG waste of money for me. Still no t-shirt here in Scotland.
