Call me a sucker, but I believe in supporting artists legitimately.

I see discussions about amazing unreleased or live tracks... and have hardly any myself.

But when Prince launched LotusFlow3r.com, I thought "YES! Finally I get to see and hear these tracks directly from the source - in great quality!"

What do we get for $77? A retail album, a handful of new videos, and streams of videos I already have - of which the quality ain't that great.

So... what am I left with? Where should I go to get my fix of raw, uncut Prince funk?

I want to support you Prince, legitimately... But you make it so hard.

i have afterall paid full price for everything so far-in fact-all his albums up to around Lovesexy-i had 1st-all cassettes-then replaced with vinyl-then upgraded to cd's-so i've actually paid for 3 copies of it all up to then-plus all the twelve inches etc.....

Lack of patience to hear Lotus was my downfall-especially since the day after i signed up-i found all 3 albums..lol talk about sods law

Although I have said it before, this thread justly deserves it! Prince is fulfilling his self-fulfilling prophecy.He wants to believe we are all out to "steal" his work, but even when we go about obtaining it legitimately, he doesn't put out. At what point do we say, "Hey, what's up with the website?" At what point do we start considering looking elsewhere for the material his press releases alluded to?
