I've been away from fast internet access for a while, so am just catching up with all this.
I feel bad for anyone who paid the $77. I was very tempted, but -remembering the fate of my NPG "lifetime" membership - decided to wait.

I think Prince has alienated a lot of his die hard fans with this latest website debacle.

Plus, I just noticed that he and his lawyers are ATTEMPTING to pull his videos of all free channels (most notably Youtube). I know this is probably old news to
most of you - but I don't have a home computer or fast internet at work, so I'm behind.

Prince's internet "strategy" seems deluded and self-defeating. He'll never get his videos off all the sites (it took me a day to find loads of them on smaller sites)
and he's just cutting himself off from new fans.
He's also motivating me to download his stuff illegally, just to spite him, and that's something I didn't use to do.

I still love his music, and have been a fan for more than 20 years, but I'm with everyone who says, "I ain't ever paying Prince again for website membership".

Can somebody please explain 2 me what the fuss is all about? $77.00 is not even a lot of money. $777.00 might be different. Who can't afford $77.00? That's popcorn change. PLEASE!!! Eye got my T Shirt which eye'm going 2 frame and the song "In A Large Room With No Light" well, Eye have already downloaded it and added it 2 my Lotusflow3r playlist in my ipod. The song is SUPER! and Lotusflow3r is brewing up a big surprise 4 all founding members. Thanx Prince. They can't keep a good man down.

LotusScam.com is the best 'bait and switch' plan Prince has ever devised for ripping off fans. Pay $77 and get a flea market t-shirt and an unavailing website. Party up!

I was going to join, but it looks like there is no point.
After all, if there were ever any new tracks posted they would be available on the net anyway.

Really, don't see the point in spending $77 for t-shirt. Also at the time the new website was launched I'm sure the t-shirt would have converted to £77!
