Hi gang.
I've just bought my first laptop and have registered here as well as a couple of other sites, but my question is-
Is it worth joining Lotusflow3r? I have read all the negative thoughts on the it, but for some reason I have seen a lot of negativity for Prince on this site, so I'm looking for as truthful answers as can be expected.
ps. This is also my first post on the Org.

While I can't believe we'll get to the end of the year and it'll still be this crap, there's nothing there at the moment that makes $77 seem anything like good value.

I'd wait longer if I were you.

I know this has being talked to death by now, but I just new to the Inter-net scene so was looking for an open opinion
Like I say I'm new to the net and wondering was Lotusflow3r as tired as I heard.
You seem to make it sound so. Unless some one says different I think I will stay with this point of view.
I'm returning to education in September (hence the laptop), I can't really waste the money now, plus I have bought the CDs from Hmv at 35EURO weeks ago.
Is there anything else online that might justify the money for signing on.

There's maybe two or three previously unseen video clips. Nothing worth dropping $77 on at the moment. It's especially not worth it if you already have the albums. There is a different track on the lotusflow3r.com version of the album Lotusfow3r. Crimson & Clover is replaced with The Morning After.

I personally prefer The Morning After at that position on the CD but wouldn't value it at $77.

I don't think you get the tshirt if you sign up now and it doesn't seem like they're taking stuff off as new stuff goes up, so probably best to hang on to your cash until value is offered.

At this point it would be like buying a Pontiac with an extended warranty.

if you've already got a physical copy of the lotusflower album, then no.

there is nothing very special on the site, nothing worth paying all that
money for.

just a bunch of low quality vids you can't even save on your computer
but can only watch for as long as they leave them up.

beyond that, there is no news, no regular updates, no word on what we
can expect for the remaining 8 months (up until now, i truly feel like
the site realised about 0.5% of it's potential).

in short: wait and check the org if anything happens on that site that
is worth signing up for because right now there is zero reason imo.

if you got 77 bucks to throw away then sure. the site has nothing of value to be honest. A few videos most have seen or have copies of, and not much else. You can get the music @ Target for 12 bucks minus 1 song...

I regret joining. As others have said you'd be better off waiting. If the site does suddenly offer up lots of goodies you can always join. I think a lot of us got caught up in the excitement of a new site after a year or two of nothing. Unfortunately to date www.lotusflow3r.com has been a big disappointment..

Well, looking at the last 4 month, almost 80 - 90% of the .org's overall posts deal with how shitty we have been ripped off by the purple one, with us paying 77 bucks for actually joining a bs site and getting nothing but a lot of technical issues.

If you like to join the club - feel welcomed!

I wish I could tell you otherwise! I had such high hopes for Lotusflow3r.com, and actually I still do. For now, until things change, waiting will save you from the disappointment so many of us feel!

am i the only one getting more peeved day by day ? i find myself checking my mail every day about tea time (morning in LA) for an update mail

i WAS convinced they'd get going as soon as the tee's start to arrive

that didn't happen-and they stiffed us on the second june vid as stated in the mail serveral folk got

now im fairly sure we've annoyed them with our lack of absoloute joy with what it is-or indeed is not-and may never be now

i'd mail them to enquire about the lost video-but to be honest-I can't be arsed with them. Not luike they'd reply anyway

PS-and before anyone says get a life -i do have a life-which involved joining a new funky galaxy thats flatter than a punctured fart cushion

bring out crappy albums-i can forgive that-no one can be brilliant all the time-but plainly rip me off and pretend all is ok

besides, if anything does come out from this club.. just download it from other sources.. don't rest your credit card number in the hands of people who can't run a site properly.

keep your money till there is something worthwhile....I feel totally ripped off...I too had high hopes that Prince was finally going to, as spike lee said "do the right thing"....but so far it has been very very disappointing...I hope things will get better (they couldn't be much worse LOL) but I won't fool myself again.... Prince has cheated us before with his promises and hype....fool me once - shame on you...fool me twice - shame on me!!

I don't feel at all guilty for downloading the video clips....for $77 I think I am entitled to watch them whenever i damn well feel like it....

maybe there's method to his madness...but I am more than a little tired of his games.....

In all honesty you could give $77 to a bootlegger and get 100x more Prince content than what is available on lotusflow3r.com .....that's a fact.
