You said:

What you guys like is that Trent gives you his shitting music for free because nobody in their right mind would buy any of it. I hope P does not have to resort to giving all of his music away for free and some of you need to stop being so damm cheap. No artist can live without money everybody should be compensated for their work.

So you insulted people and you call that adding to the debate?

I know some of you Prince fans find it hard to believe but a lot of people think Prince's music is shitty. Millions of them. I am sure you do not care about that just as I don't care what you guys think of Trent's music. Talent is subjective. It is all a matter of opinion. While some of you can bitch til the cows come home, Trent's site is tons better than Prince's.

-----
I am sorry your so sensitive that you can't handle my opinion about Trent's music. I think it is shitty and so do a few other people on this topic.
Lot's of people don't like P's music but millions due as he has sold about 38 million CDs I am sure that is a lot less than Trent is every going to sell.

I will give you one thing perhaps Trent site is better if his fans are happy with it but the music is a whole different issue.
I don't care what you think of Trent's music and why you brought it up is beyond me. We are discussing websites only. YOU just took it as an excuse to slam Trent and people here.

This guys does not have the range, diversity, talent or popularity to even be put on P’s level.
People are going to remember P’s music long after he is gone not to many people are going to care about Trent’s website being great if the music he leaves behind is poor.

What on bloody earth are you talking about? Popularity, diversity, range? You are comparing Prince and Trent Reznor?

No is comparing but yourself, and it shows tremendous idiocy on your part to do so. Read the thread for fucks sake, It's about his business model.

Detach the face from Prince's ass for two seconds and read. lol

And please stop hijacking this thread. If you had actually watched the clip or read some of the posts you would have realized that, though trent reznor gives tons of stuff away for free, his site is still extremely profitable. Welcome to the conversation.

Compare all that to NIN. And here is where I get to my main point. Prince has got nothing on Trent Reznor in terms of maximizing the web's capabilities for promotion and fan interaction

Why don't you read what I said about his website being one thing that is more successful (business model) then P's if his fans are happy and not meaning much if the content (music) sucks.

I am sorry some of you have your head so far up this guy's ass that you care more about his website than you do the actual music.

This is what I think about this topic not what you think. This is what I think about this topic not what you think. You need to watch it with the idiot comment since it is idiocy on your part to try a jam your opinion down my throat as well as some of the other people on this board who are so sensitive that they can’t handle my comments about the shitting music on Trent’s web.

I know he gives stuff away for free because no one would buy it if was for sale.

You guys like this because it cost you nothing and perhaps it makes Trent happy to do it.

No money coming in means no profit from the site. Unless he has ads on the site and that is where is profit would come from. I still think the music is shitty and I don't see the point of having a great site with shitty music.

Now go take the Prozac that you need after listening to that crap.

I've had better luck getting my point across to the three-legged squirrel that likes to hump the tree in my backyard.

Personally I think it would be interesting if Trent learnt a thing or two from Prince...

For example, when Prince went solo from his record company one of his first ports of call was to appear on Muppets Tonight.

I'm thinking that NIN doing 'Closer' with Animal would make essential viewing... biggrin
Formally known as Mr_Nos on Housequake

Hate is such a strong word, I'm just disillusioned...
