Just thinking about it. In the UK i think $77 is around £50 and as the Lotusflow3r CD over in the UK is £30 and the t-shirt im getting will be worth at least £20, I got my moneys worth.
I know theres cheaper ways of getting the CD but via Prince, thats the some of money we would of paied anyway over in the UK. Just crossed my mind

Also...I don't know how many O2/Indigo shows you went to...but those ticket prices were a steal. Those of us who paid $125 (at least) just for show tickets in Vegas - plus travel expenses on top of that - would have jumped at that opportunity. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Just crossed my mind I think that says more about how badly you are being gouged for cd's and t-shirts over there than it does about the value of a Lotusflow3r membership.

Genesia makes an excellent point about the O2 residency, we have had amazing Prince value over the last few years in the UK. So looking as a whole, my Prince spend to return ratio is pretty damn good. Unfortunately, looking at lotusflow3r.com in isolation, it's pretty poor. The CD might be £30 in HMV but I've seen quite a few orgers say how they got a copy for £15 or less. However, if rationalising the value so far based on HMV prices helps someone feel better about the $77 spent, then I"m not going to stand in their way. There still remains the possibility that $77 could be seen as good value by the end of the year. I'm sure more will come. RIP

Here in Dublin, I saw the CD in HMV for EUR35.99
My jaw dropped as I actually saw it in there after looking every couple of days to see if I would ever get a physical copy (I hate downloading stuff)... Luckily I saw this the day AFTER I had purchased the CD, brand new and sealed from a little indie record store I frequent for EUR9.99 (thats about 14 us dollars). I asked the guy how he managed to get his hands on them, his simple reply was "I just ordered them". He also said that since they were only 12 bucks for them in Target he felt bad charging any more for them. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDENT RECORD STORES PEOPLE!!!
