yes i paid the 52 pounds to join the website on the opening day and since then have maybe been 6 more times and havent felt the need to go there for nearly two months now .....as far as i can see, the only thing that has happened in that time is the undertaker video has went up which i already have anyway ....no unrelased music or live videos or anything of REAL interest to a long time admirer of his ....

i know there are lots of moaning here about it but i just find it sad.....if prince thinks he can put a few things up just before the year ends and that will be ok ....i am sorry , it wont...npgmc was great compared to this farce....

This is one reason why I never registered on the site in the first place, cos I knew that I would hardly ever visit it anyway!!!!

And, apparently, according 2 a lot of people on here, I am not missing much!!!!

I will wait and see what happens with the next tour. I remember punks bitching about NPGMC while I was getting into aftershows in the front row for free and got to about 4 concerts in the front row. Something will come of it eventually. Then there will be complaints about what is eventually available so Prince cant win.

I have to say after initially being excited by the offering, the site has lost its allure for me and truth be told I haven't been back in a few weeks. I keep checking the update thread in here to see if new stuff has been added. A little disappointed that the latest new piece of content was The Undertaker video (something many of us have owned for years).

That all said, I still hold hope that new stuff will regularly pop up.

I was on it a lot when it started. Then I went less and less. I have not been on it in a few weeks now. I am looking forward to not renewing my membership when the time comes.

It's a complete waste of money, apart from the albums all the content should be free with videos available on youtube which would allow people to discover Prince. I think the website needs to be publicly accessible. Take Beverley Knight's website very simple but with all the info you need and a mailing list which gives you access to concert pre-sales etc and all for free.

i find the website too much like hard work, any real info isn't long reaching here anyway so i don't really bother with it. that t-shirt must be getting hand stiched somewhere cause it is taking forever as well.

It's really a shame because npg music club was cool. I came home from work one day & One Night Alone had been delivered in the mail. I wasn't even expecting it. Plus I had 3rd row seats when he was in D.C.. That was late 2002/early 2003. In 2004, I had 4th & 7th row seats when I saw him in D.C. & Philadelphia. Those are the perks I was hoping for when signing up to the lotus flower.

I understand what ur saying, I found myself rarely going there so Im trying to go there more often. I like the videos, Ive found some pretty cool ones like when he plays after the show is over. I always wanted to c those, like jay he played like 2 more songs.. this is cool. I will b disapointed if I never get my shirt tho. Ive been checking the mail every day. Im hoping to save enough money to go c him again, so the ticket deal is great. Im glad I joined just wishing the fee wasnt yearly. Thats messed up.

Maybe they will add a store, wishful thinking.....

i was low on cash when lotus was introduced
i was able to get the cd however is there a chance Mr Nelson and the staff did not know it was to be so big so quickly and just did not have the staff to do it
i know this is a poor example but my kids joined something called webkins
last year lil suffed animales with codes to a virtual world how ever the site is really slow it took forever to get anything on line and it took 2 months for a reply on what is going on
so i feel for all that signed up
but i am sure Mr N will do the right thing by all when able
