Moderator | "One Night Alone... Live!" - A pictorial (Updated) This is pictorial of one NPGMC member getting his loot. 12/10/02: Got my little notice on the door... The next day, wouldn't you know... Guess what was in the mail box! After all those days of checking http://www.npgmusicclub.com to see what and when "something" was coming... The wait was finally over. So... I closed the door to the studio, lit a candle, put on the bubble lamp, and the listening session began. Now, to really appreciate this, it's really nice to have a good sound system. There is certain things you can "pump up" given the right gear. Ok, where to begin. Inside our little box you have the following: Contents: "One Nite Alone Live!" = 2 discs "One Nite Alone... The Aftershow: It Ain't Over!" = 1 disc 56-Page Color Booklet purty - lots of colors Mini-Poster Also contains “One Nite Alone” studio piano = 1 CD (Note: James Brown figure and bubble lamp sold separately) The booklet: interesting read so far... The poster: Not sure I have a place for it. It just doesn't fit anywhere One Night Alone (Solo piano and voice by Prince: 01- One Nite Alone 3:37 02- U'Re Gonna C Me 5:17 03- Here On Earth 3:23 04- A Case of U 3:40 05- Have A 2:04 06- Objects in the Mirror 3:27 07- Avalanche 4:25 08- Pearls B4 The Swine 3:01 09- Young And Beautiful 2:45 10- Arboretum 3:26 One Night Alone... Probably one of the best posts I've seen in a LONG time.
I had a smile on my face from start to end. Funny, politically incorrect, and very touching. Thanks, P.S. be careful when blasting tunes around the baby... ears very fragile. P.S.S. you rich or somethin??... the mac alone probably costs you $4,000. | |

P.S.S. you rich or somethin??... the mac alone probably costs you $4,000. Thanks man! The baby shots were were taken at my house which is 25 miles away from the studio where I do "my thing". I would never play loud music around my child. Never. At home is quiet/family time. I leave the play and work at the studio Rich? Far from it brother. With each job I try to generate, we buy the next peice of gear. (We = my studio partner: http://www.frankaxtell.com an myself) I'm still your typical "paycheck to paycheck" american. If I didn't hand my paycheck over to my wife, we'd be out on the street for sure. That's why I keep the studio money separate from my day job money. That way the studio can hopefully take care of itself. So far just breaking even. One day I'd like to have a store front. I don't see that as impossible in about 5 years. Maybe... And er, that imitation of Mr. Blackwell was the best. It's amazing what you will do when it is your own. Besides, what could he do? He doesn't have the coordination to put it in his mouth yet. I probably wouldn't have set it on his tummy if he could. All Rights Reserved. |

This is great...laughed out loud through the entire pictorial...boss even asked what the hell was "so damn funny." Showed him the pictorial (he knows I'm a Prince freak) but he was not really amused, just walked away shaking his head...but the bastard did ask me to burn him a copy of the disc 3. I told him "hell no."
