OK, help me decide...Should I join

I had thought of joining this club, but I keep reading all these complaints that people have about being members. The CD's that you members are getting aren't available in stores, right? Or, is it just that you get them before they become available to the public?

What are the pros? What are the cons?
The finger pointing at the moon is not the moon...dammit!

Well ONA isnot available in stores, but we got half of it the previous year on downloads. ONA live is expected in stores, but wouldn't we buy it anyway? So including it in membership isn't a problem for me.

The biggest of the cons is the lack of information. I signed up expecting 4 CD's. If they are not delivered and ONA live is the last, I expect to be extremely annoyed. I am however, waiting untill the end of the membership before getting really angry.

My advice, wait until the middle of December, see what comes regarding the other CD's and make a decision then.
RIP sad

Don't wast any more time: Join today!

It is truly an x-periment in the "fraud x-perience"!

You can enter the world of Prince and be a "fam" and treat yourself to all the x-citment that entails:

will you or will you not recieve your cd's?
will they contain mostly new music?
will he or not tour your town?
will you recieve cryptically inane e-mails?
will those e-mails be elusive or rude?
will you be able to order x-clusive, overpriced merchandise before it sells out?
will you pay more for a cd in the mailbox than retail?

I'd say join!

The adventure and psychological stress of what you bought into (in2?) is not worth $100-it's priceless; the TRUE "gold experience"!
enjoy!

Depends on how much of die hard fan you are. I joined earlier in the year when the Euro concerts became a high possibility. I have recieved no CD's yet but I am assured they are in progress. ONA is only available through the club. ONA live will probably be available in stores before we get ours in the post. This is all we know about because info is RARE! Two downloads and Days of Wild live CD (that we had to buy, but still an exclusive right to buy). I got my pass to the London gig, saw a soundchek and after show with an awsome concert - priceless - but that is gone now. I regret not joining last year because although many songs given are on this years ONA I still don't have others and that pisses me off cus the moment has gone now. If you simply MUST have a full collection then Join but I must admit at this late stage with the concerts gone (unless you are Japanese) it is a tough call.

Personally I wouldn't join now, the only thing you will be missing is the One Nite Alone piano album - if you were a member last year that is just five new songs (and file sharing is always a possibility). Everything else (i.e the live album) you can get in the shops.
I know u people worthless scum give no heart but wrath of insults a brain-driven wave of destruction your bite is worse than your vocabulary. Shame on you all of you. Go feed your pigs coward.

I'd say wait and see what is on offer for the 2003 membership. It may be a totally different package to last year. I'd say they have learnt by their mistakes. They must be getting a heck of a lot of negative feedback at the moment, so they should know what the fans will want next year. I am very keen to join up myself, so I am anxiously awaiting for the details to be released.
If I had joined up for year 2002, I would have been very happy with what was made available. For instance, I have had to order ONA - Live from Amazon and probably will not receive it until after Christmas. I can't wait!!! I'm like a child waiting for Santa to arrive
