Me either. I thought the first year was ok but this year has been a balls up.

If he tours here I might join for the benefits associated with membership.

Don't laugh at me, but I actually joined NPGMC today smile

Well, I'd like the 3CD live set - and from the prices here in the UK (around £49 on import) for the sake of an extra £10 I could order with NPGMC and get the piano album too.

At least I've had the luxury this year of waiting, seeing what was on offer, and deciding whether I felt it was a reasonable purchase or not. For approx $60 sterling (the exchange rate was decent today) I'll get 4CDs of music which is reasonable enough.

Also ordered the new Common and Roots albums from Play.com so I'll have a funk filled Xmas...

However, if I'd paid $100 at the start of the year I'd be pissed off like the rest of you. Next time, hang on to your cash and see what you are paying for and then make a decision.

but ultimately now ure so late what's the difference when u join? U were always gonna and u know it. when i joined I paid £67. The box set will be £40 in the shops in a week or two somewhere and the difference between a CDR of all the songs from ONA and the actual thing is negligible. £15 saved and no stress of poor service.

My account info is apparently not available and my address is alien to them. My chances of getting the box set this month is not good.

He can play, but Prince is a cunt, pure and simple.

the root's phrenology album is great...with the possible exception of musiq's song and the 5 minutes of noise about halfway thru the disk...overall it's very cool tho...

haven't heard the common cd, but i'ma get it tomorrow...

Now it´s here. It is great.

A while ago a friend and I discussed the greatness of the old LP covers; pictures and text are greater in a bigger scale.

NOW I sit here with the box set (cd´s), the book are BIG, not as big as LP size, but big enough to make the pics. and text look good, and makes u feel that u got something special.

Listening to it wright now; I CAN NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING A MEMBER WHATSOEVER; THIS IS GREAT.

I sure dont hope that prince/NPG and the MUsic club take the negative debate (on here) seriously.

Let me ask U (the pesimistic´s): did U ever experince something quite like this ?; it´s ORGINAL AND NEW, in a lot of ways. (distrubuting, musical and spiritual)

Sure I will join for next year, if u all did´nt fuck it up and made this project, wich is so important for the consumers and the "buisness", go down.

This set is the finest EVER I bought from Prince.

nb. sorry for my bad spelling; I am danish, u know.

Love

Henrik: the dane from sweden.

Dont laugh at Paul - I have just joined 2 - I reckon Paul and I in the uk have got a good deal actually - £60 and we get the piano cd and the live set - I tried on here for the piano set assuming since evry1 had been bitching about how crap it was then they would love to offload their 2nd copy but nooo - noone wanted 2 part with it - I only became aware of this site about 3mnths ago - having been a prince fan for 20 years - and I have 2 say that I am really suprised and disapppointed by a lot of peoples moaning and negativity - dont like it vote with your feet as they say - it seems 2 me that a lot of peeps use this bbs to complain and make themselves feel important?

I have seen peeps slag others off loads - when they only seem like genuine nice peeps - now i am no fool and no prince freak either - i am a normal joe doing a normal job and enjoying life - but a lot of you almost put me off joining the npgmc even...

This site rocks for up2date info on what is happening in purplefunk land but really some people should try to get more positive as a New Years resolution!! lol
Anyway - let the torrent of abuse begin! machinegun
