"False advertising" is probably the only real thing they're guilty of. Do what you gotta do. I've has issues with the club and have tried repeatedly to resolve them directly. So far, I've been generally ignored.

maybe, if you're really dissatisfied, instead of trying to shut the club down, you could ask for a discounted membership in year3?? lots of businesses will offer discounts or rebates for unsatisfied customers. | |

I can see both sides of the arguement, but to be honest, the people who are reporting to the BBB have every right and are right to do so.
There is an element of people here who are attacking them, blaming them for possibly shutting down the club. Remember a few facts. Forget all the "Xenophobia" broken promises etc ets. The club promised everyone 4 CD, BEFORE retail. There are many people who have yet to recieve ANY CDs. They have two grounds. 1. Where the hell are my CDs? 2. ONA live has hit retail in two countries already! They have every right to be mad. Its not fair for us who have had our share to knock those who have not. Don't get me started on the "WORLD TOUR 2001 and 2002!" The club fucked up. AGAIN! Don't lay a guilt trip on those who have been less fortunate than others. That is selfishness, pure and simple. If the club shuts down, its through their own bad management. . |

When you make explcit promises to thousands and thousands of people in return of 100$ per person you better be willing and able to keep them. The number of times I've heard people here praying for a live album. And here it is, and now there's moaning that it's not "new". Get over it ! You never know, there might be a 5th CD this year ! ( Probably not, but there's always hope  )

Look at the last album prince sold retail. Now look at how many copies it sold, that will give you a closer estimate of whos in the club. Are you ignoring the fact that it caught the attention of NPGMC enough to prompt their attorney to write a reply? Its bad enough when the club ingores its members comments, but when prince drones on here refuse to accept that not everyone shares the same opinion of prince and his club its pretty sad. I can buy quite a few CDs and go to quite a few concerts with that money. | |

Ok, to summarize how I feel.
I don't think it is right for anyone to be calling each other names, first of all. Secondly, if someone has chosen to not contact outside assistance, because they are satisfied, what's wrong with that? Third, if someone has decided they needed outside assistance, because they weren't satisfied, what's wrong with that? I say nothing, to answer both of my own questions. In my case, I am satsified, and didn't feel it was necessary to go outside the club. I aired my opinions to them, gave them ideas for improvements (in my own eyes), and I am cool with that. I just wish all the name calling would stop, it really isn't necessary to attack each other over opinions. Discussing works better, don't you think? | |
