I got my email and it does'nt say anything bout tix 4 sale.
Since Ellen does'nt charge for ppl to see her show..Same will be for Prince "Giving"away tickets for the taping.

prince has "given away" many shows... all the tv appearances... leno, arsenio, vibe, ellen, oprah, letterman, SNL, etc., etc.,... too many 2 mention.

the price u pay is... the long lineups of waiting and waiting... : )

this giveaway is pretty nice, considering Ellen always sells out and Lindsay Lohan will be on so that will draw more people

Well I don't know about everyone, but the "ticket" system on Lotusflow3r is /was really bad for the Ellen Degeneres Show..:

1. Any one can request tickets, even if they are in another state or country.
(I only say this because my cousin in Texas got on the list for Jay Leno, and was no where near the area!)

2. After the the original request have been filled & Industry folks have their tickets, there might be about 20 - 25 tickets left from 301 (total seats in the Ellen Studio).

3. There should be a system that keeps track of member activity so that members can only go to one "free event" within a 4 to 6 month period (unless there are plenty of tickets to go around or if it's a pre-sale event.).
I saw at least 6 of the same "bump squad" members at the Jay Leno show when it was aired.

I got my email at 10:45 p.m. on 2/20/09, and within 50 seconds I was online and there were NO tickets left...!!
The more I go to the Lotusflow3r website and think of how I paid $77 for no type of perks (just a t-shirt, which will be an XL and use a 3XL) and to top it off, I can't even download the music on there...LOL

Especially if the ticket limit is under 50 or less, and the event is less than 1 or 2 days away. They could also make 1/2 or a little more than half, available to members within the state, and the remaining tickets available to members who live in surrounding areas close to the state the event is being held. It really makes no sense to have it available for fans who do not live anywhere near the state, especially when the event is announced within a very, short period of time. On top of that it could free up traffic on the site when fans are trying to get those tickets, once they are available. Just my 2 cents.
