ONA Live reaches Romford, Essex but damaged...

Great, ONA turned up at lunchtime, fantastic news, except I open the packet to find a nicely crushed box. Why are they sending these things in unprotected packaging, it's moronic. Did anyone else in the UK receive damaged goods? Let's hope my second delivery is OK or I might just lose the plot and finally go insane.

Personally I'll be happy if the CDs arrive...that's what I want the music. The box set would not sit nicely on my shelf anyway.

I read another post about a damaged packet so I guess it's not unusual. If the apckaging is really insufficient bring it to the attention of the NPGMC _and_ gage.com and ask for a replacement.

I got mine this afternoon, its slightly damamged on the back. One fedex big envolope with no bubble wrap is awful packaging.

Overall the box set is nice, the book is the best thing about it.
Amazon have its value about right at £43.
We paid £22 for ONA piano CD. Bargain.

Sadly, joined the club twice so that four of us could go to the concerts so my second box set is being re-delivered tomorrow as I missed it this afternoon.

This is what I've been trying to find out! How do Fedex let you know that they tried to deliver without success?

My delivery was not actually made by Fed Ex. They sent it to the UK but from there it is sent to a regional delivery service. Mine was called Business Post who I believe are national, you could see if they are in your area on www.business-post.com.

Fed Ex delivered my box set to work today. Slightly scuffed around edges but looks good all the same.
I seem to have some kind of bonus DVD in mine...
ONLY KIDDING!
Can't wait to play what looks like an "Official Bootleg".

I'm glad i'm not the only one with a scuffed box. I have complained and am waiting for an answer. Afer all I have paid for these CD's and if they aren't in perfect condition then they should have said so before I purchased them!

Damn! Can Prince's company do anything right?!? That's horrible to pay for CD's that come in F'd up packaging! In the meantime, people who buy at retail get it cheaper & in pristine packaging. (Well, when they actually deliver the damn things to retail but that's a whole different mess)

I know that Cage is handling the shipping, but why is P even dealing with them if they can't handle the simple task of mailing out CD's in proper packaging?
