If he had released these as normal at appx 15 a pop, would we complaining about the value of the 77 dollar website?

If the CD's were free and the site cost 77 cents people would still be complaining.

Everyone knew long before the site opened that the album would sell for $12. If that's the cause of the bitching, they have even fewer smarts than I gave them credit for.

It's ridiculous for someone to be bitching about something, for which they've paid for a year, when only two weeks have passed. It seems that most of the moaners are complaining about what they expect will happen. Who knows what might appear over the remainder of the year.

As far as I'm concerned, have I had $77 worth? Not yet. Have I had two weeks worth of that $77? As it works out to just under $3 for the two weeks, I'd have to say, most definitely yes.

People here would complain about any and everything regarding Prince regardless of price. Come on now.

love the albums (not bria, which is ok) and I paid 77$ for them and today another 29.99£!!!! for them.

Best in quite a few years imho.

regarding the price of the 3cd set, it seems a little odd to me but a great way to boost sales and make people feel like they are getting a deal

imagine their surprise when they find out that only 1/3 of the music is worth paying for

What WILL be interesting will be if Prince/LotusFlow3r introduce a membership-joining cut-off date 4 access 2 special concert tickets and reduced concert ticket prices. 4 example,something like a date of April 24th after which any new members won't be able 2 buy tickets thru the site (this is what Madonna's ICON site does 2 control scalpers from joining). If they do this, everyone who didn't shell out $77 will really be complaining! It'll be his way of rewarding the "early adopters" and people who "believe his promises."
