I truely want to thank prince.org I am so not a computer wiz kid, but reading everyone's advice, I have finaly got all the albums downloaded. I love the music and hope the website gets smoother because there are a lot of videos I'd like to check out.

I do feel like I am in a very exclusive club. You'd have to be a serious fan to go through all this trouble, and without the added help of my fellow orgers, I would have given up. At least we know those who are members are really fans of the music, not a bunch of silly knunckleheads.

Honestly, for all the hype about the site, I really don't think it's that great or cool. It doesn't seem that impressive to me.

Love it. Site design is miles ahead of anything he's tried before. I understand that some people have been unhappy, but the difficulties we've encountered are exactly what you should expect when something with this kind of scope is attempted by an artist that has NO industry assistance.

I disagree. The difficulties we've encountered are the types of things that should have been tested before making the site public. They had 2+ months to make it compatible with Internet Explorer, to think about how to make it accept European credit cards, to make sure the audio files were not corrupted, etc. It's not rocket science, and considering NPGMC already had a lot of similiar issues, you'd think those would have been at the top of the "do not repeat" list.

I love the psychedelic graphics and the 3D effects, but that's about it because of the content loading issues and lack of old content (i.e., they had many months 2 upload old content and we've only got dozens of old things, not hundreds). Galaxies are big places, and I find this place small, about the size of a solar system. This new site is still a bit clunky and the choppy videos do a disservice 2 the artist.

I loved NPGMC.com and even most of 3121.com. I wish P never did away with them.

I was waiting for this thread. Today it feels great to be a Prince fan.

It would not have felt right if it had worked perfectly.

I have not yet had a chance to listen to everything but what I have heard has been great. To me its all about the music. When they sort the clunky videos out I will be a very happy man.

The vids are coming along. A lot of the choppiness that was there yesterday and earlier today are just about out. I think it was probably due to the high traffic. But so far I like the site. Good to have an "official" Prince site for a change.
