Number of Subscribers? Does anyone know how many people have subscribed to lotusflow3r.com? I know it's still early & subscriptions will continue to climb but I'm keen to know how many after a week of launch.
PS. The new video additions are awesome (especially DMSR live) & they are all working so much faster now. | |

Unless Prince and his team announce it at some point as a pat on the back to themselves, we will only ever be guessing.
The NPGMC moderators were extremely protective of ever releasing numbers. One or two members back then (2003-1006) found a way of looking at the forum member list and estimating a membership total but even that got poo-poo'd by the mods and the list was pulled so you couldn't do it anymore. I seem to recall it was in the 10s of thousands, I don't think it was hundreds of thousands, definitely was not in the millions. That was with a $25 membership So based on that I'm sure Prince has a quite a few thousand members of the new lotusflow3r site so far (and that generates some nice income for him at $77 a pop). With site improvements, regular new content, and if a live tour is announced with pre-sales that could rocket some more. Just somewhere in the middle,

I thought they (website moderators) would probably try & use the number of subscribers to count as album sales as in theory we have paid for the new albums via our subscription. It would surley help Price secure another No. 1 album...especially since predictions are that it may debut at the No. 2 spot behinf Keith Urban's new album (see other Lotus Flow3r sales thread). | |

Between 3000 and 4000 lurkers were here after Lotuflow3r went live, so let's assume that most, or all of them were googling how to get shit to work on the site and wound up here as a de-facto tech forum. Add to that the orgers that joined the lotus and you get maybe 4000+.
By my math, that's approximately one billion dollars that Prince earned in a weekend. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
