why is he giving us stuff we already have? ask anyone on here if they would rather watch 02 aftershow footage or the video for kiss?
we all clearly want live stuff, never before seen videos and behind the scenes / studio stuff! so why do we get raspberry beret? doesent he know these vids are allready out there? $77 for the chance to watch the video for controversy...?

Patience. I'm sure there is lots of great stuff to come! I for one was happy to see the two Leno rehearsals of '1999' and 'Guitar', and the Musicology tour footage of 'DMSR', not to mention 'The Sacrifice of Victor'. |

I don't need to watch an aftershow.
Please use the precious bandwidth for quality audio. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Well he got Youtube to take the videos down and now he's hosting them in a pay per view style. Pretty simple, he wants all Prince product to come at a cost, straight into his pocket.

nowadays artists use youtube to promote their music, videos, etc.

yep!!!welcome to PrinceTube I believe Youtube pay royalties per view. Would have thought it would be more profitable to leave them on there for royalties and promotion to new fanbases than hiding them away for hardcore fans who pay $77 and have seen them all before anyway.
