My experience with lotusflow3r support I kept getting an error message when I tried to complete my ticket purchase to the Nokia theatre show because of a glitch, so I sent an email to lotusflow3r support on Friday morning. I got an email back from Scott on Friday afternoon, explaining that if I emailed them my credit card details I could buy up to two tickets for the show.
I did and got a confirmation for two tickets. However, I was only charged for one ticket. So, I sent a reply asking them to charge me for the second ticket. The two tickets were waiting for me at will call, no problem, on Saturday, but my bank statement still showed only one charge. So I sent another email to lotusflow3r support Sunday morning, reminding them of the undercharge, and asking them to charge the second ticket to the credit card I have on file. A couple hours later on Sunday afternoon I got a receipt back from Prince Nelson of lotusflow3r sales for the second ticket and an email back from lotusflow3r support explaining that they had to wait a day to charge the second ticket to my card. I know a lot of people have had a lot of issues with lotusflow3r, but I think Scott and the crew are really trying to work out the glitches.

After the whole SSL security problems with the site, you'd think they'd know better than to ask you to email your credit card details!! Keep a very careful eye on your statements to make sure that your details haven't been cloned etc. Formally known as Mr_Nos on Housequake

I sent them an email on the day the site was launched asking them two questions, and have yet to receive a reply. They were simple too: Why was the site not secured (now fixed), and could they confirm EXACTLY what we were paying for, i.e. what our $77 entitled us to, as the "a whole new galaxy" mention on the signup page was a little vague to say the least...

Oh for crying out loud. Whatever bank is doing their CC processing for them should be informed of this, so they can revoke their license. bak1999 said: I know a lot of people have had a lot of issues with lotusflow3r, but I think Scott and the crew are really trying to work out the glitches.
Dude, you had to EMAIL them. That's not fixing the site. © Bart Van Hemelen

So you ordered two tickets. You got two tickets. You found out then that you were charged only once. You remind them. And then you're impatient. And email them again. Wasting precious support time for more important issues from someone else. They did business with you, they know what you owe them, they have your info, they can charge you. So why all the guilt to contact them again? And why is it so special to correct a mistake for their gain? I do not condemn all this but is very strange indeed. Maybe so, but the fact remains that email is an unsecured forum and sending credit card details via this medium is something that should never be recommended. Formally known as Mr_Nos on Housequake

Darwinism will not get rid of these situations. People that don't know the basic safety measures and -issues should not be allowed online. Yes, I know that can't be enforced and is in fact preventing Darwin to have his effect but for compassion etc it should be a strict rule. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... Are you implying that this sort of oversight (indiscreet use of online security) is caused by a lack of genetic evolution by natural selection? I really don't think nature is going to select the genes for survival on that basis. Come on. Just somewhere in the middle,

No, a lack of oversight should invoke Darwinist effects and thus eradicate individuals lacking a sens of what is safe and what not. It has kept animals on their edge for aeons. If so: It is indeed a very small company (Scott here, Scott there, etc). It is indeed very unprofessional to do so with creditcard info. Anybody should know by now, we're in the 21st century, man. How many people signed up during the first say 24 hours? How many card numbers went over the net unencrypted before they got ssl in place? (when the friggin servers supported it but they hadn't implemented it yet) How many letters Scott would need to write to guarantee our money against fraud? Hmmm? Scott, you can post here. No, this is just positive criticism. We want to educate and fix issues. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... Without wanting to get too bogged down in a evolutionary discussion, the same people who send credit card details in the post would probably still turn and run if they heard a gunshot from the direction they were walking in. Although you are right about implying ID theft etc being "unsafe", the potential for it to happen is not something that automatically signals your brain to invoke a survival repsonse or gets flagged up as unsafe in an animalistic sense... I assume people think before they proceed with whatever action. This thought-process is designed to avoid danger and other unbeneficial issues. Now this process doesn't work in the creditcardnumber email case because, although it is the 21st century, they STILL don't understand that the net is an unsafe place. So a person with some experience, a web-developer -Scott- asks them to send them their info this way?!? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... Just wondering if transactions would've went smoother when the site's payment-system worked with paypal ?

I emailed them about the download problems I had. I got an apology.
The site has got better but still got along way to go but I'll judge it over the year.
