I'm gonna take a guess you're referring to the CD's as you mention 'ripping'. As a rule, that information won't show whenever you rip a CD. However, depending on what software you use and as long as you are connected to the internet, said software usually automatically collects the info for you. Because the songs are burned to disc as WAV files. they won't contain the details you're after. Only MP3 files etc. can make use of ID tags and other track info.

Whether that information is readily accessible on the internet databases yet is another matter and might be the reason for it. Other than that, you'd have to manually add the details.
