Didn't we get carried away a bit?

After I've calmed down and thought about whole 'new website and new albums' project I think most of us got carried away a bit smile

In January something certainly went wrong. Maybe it was a retail deal obstacles, maybe some web problems... But after all Prince tried. He gave us 5 songs from new album absolutely for free (on radio and web). Then many of us complained about spoiling the suprise of a new album.

After the site went bang in March, we had many problems, just to mention downloads, choppy videos or logging problems. On the other hand we can't reject the positive reaction of Prince and the crew. They fixed probably all of the problems by now and it's only 3 days after the premiere.

Now we have pretty many videos, including long takes from live performances, 3 (ok 2) albums to download and much more to come. Remember he filmed the oscar party for the site and I am sure there will be a shop as well. After all lotusflow3r.com seems to be a one of the best celebrity websites I have seen but on the other hand I may have not seen much.

Albums are ones his greatest for some time but it is different story.

IMO he has done well, and we and press following us were little to harsh on him. I am content now and looking forward to the lotusflow3r future.

Yeah.smile We have to give him Props. I still wish he released the site after January. He kinda killed it when he had us wait 2 months after that.

Yeah, I think you're right.

Now that things calmed down a bit,
the site works rather well.
I still think it's a bit ugly and unpractical.

It was even that bad that I couldn't realy enjoy the music.
Now after listening more, things begin to fall in to place.

VERY well said... Glad to see some objectivity for a change. More people should follow your example...

There were 2 things I was sure about regarding this launch.

1. The site would have issues.
2. The fans would lose their minds.

I'm still batting 1000.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

JEDINATION

I waited a few days to join, but I can tell it's going to be a great site and lots of toys for us to play with.
I am very impressed by the staff contacting the org to let us know what's going on and how they are working on the problems
give the site a month or so and we'll all be saying that 77.00 bucks was MORE than worth it....
anyway, I've been playing around on it for an few hours now and I like it
