I've changed my opinion

After you work the site out - it's great. Use Safari. MPLS Sound is great.

Sorry Prince. I was wrong. This site will continue to grow and it's good.

You should still leave something for the casual fan though - not just subscription

I second that. Too many people throwing their toys out of the pram. I love the site.

As a web developer myself, with a site this complex I would be very surprised if it worked 100% first time live. However, it clearly was not capacity tested enough though. But thats my only comment.

Only a super powerful computer will get rid of the choppiness. The site is a massive resource hog and slows everything down to a crawl.
RIP sad

I love the site too. I'm also into web design/development. You can test all you want, but you can never fully recreate what happens when you go live. There are a lot of variables to launching a site. Their response seemed to be pretty good.

I'm enjoying the site as well. Loving the music. Listening to it at work. Some of the vids in the archives still freeze a bit, but then I change to another one, that's all. I really enjoy the site.

you are exactly right, going live is bound to have a few bumps, some people on here seem unable to understand that simple fact. I can understand why people are getting pissed - maybe they expect too much -- sit back and take a breath.

so you think not being able to download or watch anything from a website that costs 77 dollars is ok ??... confused ...some people have paid and still cant even log in...

No its not ok - I work in the computer industry and respect that people are having trouble. There are always problems when a site with high traffic first opens. There are factors to consider here:

1. Are the users entering their user name and password correctly.

I have seen many people get frustrated when they try to log in to a website or a program that requires a password because they miss a keystroke or accidentially type a password incorrectly. It is not a dumb mistake, rather a simple one.

2. people want it to work perfectly - i am afraid to say that wont happen at this point in time.Let them get the kinks out.

3. people need to consider that each user could have different exprieces on the site and we must be willing to let the developers fix things that may occur - sometimes they may not be able to see all the potential issues no matter how much testing they do.
