How to play the lotusflow3r.com videos clearly!

Hey guys...those of u that are finding it difficult to watch the videos without them stuttering, all u need to do is start 2 play the video and then click the RESTORE DOWN button next to the minimise button at the top right of the page and it should play pretty well! smile
p.s sorry if some 1 has already put this up

Yeah, I noticed that earlier. The vids seem to play better in full-screen mode. Weird, huh.

Yeh its pretty crazy!
I think the rest of the website is slowing the videos down at the moment and when u go in2 fullscreen mode it cuts the rest of the site out and plays the video more clearly

Also, if you open another tab on the same browser and stare at the blank screen but listen to the music, it streams tons better.

Seriously.

So it's not a problem with the servers it's just that the browsers are having a hard time rendering the video and all the complex graphics at the same time.

The "full screen" thing isn't working for me. The videos are still choppy and slow. Towards the end of the video they speed up, but they sputter.

I've just been downloading and saving the flv files and watching them offline. Much better that way.

Can you post a tutorial of how to do that...or does that go into copyright infringement?

I discovered earlier this afternoon, when it's full screen mode, the video is less choppy although it has its moments where it gets choppy.

Hmm. Not sure which browser you use, but I use Firefox, and there's a free add on app called DownloadHelper that you can install. It adds a little icon next to Firefox's address bar, and when you're on a web page that has flash videos, it "lights up" to let you know. Then you click on the icon, and it shows a list of videos on the page. Select the video you want to download, and the tool saves the flv video embedded in the Flash. You may also need a standalone FLV player, but a Google search should give you some places to get a free one.

I'm also on a Mac, but they make downloadhelper for Windows. Just Google it, and you'll find it. If you don't already have FireFox, that's a free download too. It may sound like a bit of work, but once you get the browser plug in installed, it's easy to use.

I hope this helps.

The Downloadhelper saves them, so you have them for all eternity, provided your hard drive survives that long. smile
