I know I could catch a world of shit for speaking my mind but at this point, I could care less. I will say what I am sure is on a lot of people's mind at this point and I don't care who's toes I step on.

Enough is enough of Prince's shit! When you break it down to the very last compound, this is an artist who really doesn't care about his fans. If he did, he wouldn't be sending his lawyers after the mother of a child who is just dancing along to one of his songs in a video and he wouldn't be so goddamn wishy-washy with his music. This is a man who fought so long and hard about "free the music" and was supposed to lead this revolution online with his work, and for some reason always kept coming up short. I was one of those die-hard fans who supported him during his "Slave" era when he would write that stupid shit on his face and compare his struggle to black people and make it like he was being so held down by the system only for the man to drop hogwash like "New Power Soul" and "Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic!" Oh... and how could I even forget that one called "GoldNigga?"

But I remained loyal. Buying videos, albums, MP3's, concert tickets, and trying to support an artist who made some good music. I joined the NPGMC as a "lifetime member" only to have him close the shit down without any explanation and now here we go with this new shit that's so inferior it makes me head ache! I'm sorry Prince, but not this time, sir.

Until Prince decides to get off his high horse, I will not spend another fucking dime on his work. Until he realizes that it's the fans that support his lavish lifestyle and his ability to act all quirky and shit, I will not cop another album or concert ticket for that matter. I know all the money I have spent throughout the years has purchased at least one guitar or paid for a session with a whack ass protegee like... I won't go there.

People need to wake up and realize that Prince is in this for Prince. As long as he is aware that he can put up a website and charge folks $77 for a lame ass product that they are having problems with, he will continue to do so. He will continue to rape and pillage his fans because in all honesty - I don't think he gives a damn anymore. He will continue to have his people police the Internet for his work because in all honesty, it's not about "free the music" but an issue of control and I don't have the desire to support an artist who in essence will get pissed because his image is all over the Web. I got no love for someone who was once known for not only pushing the envelope, but opened it and read it only for them to now hide behind the organized religions they rallied against. Enough.

When Prince wakes up and smell the starfish and coffee, then maybe I will consider becoming an admirer again. For now, I will support other artists who actually give a damn about the people that made them who they are.

Hummmm.....so what would u suggest he do?
