We just want to download a few mp3's. 've paid my money so I want my goods. No excuses. The site is confusing then it doesn't work. I've download the albums about 4 times now and each time I get a file that won't play on anything. plus I'm still really annoyed that Crimson isn't on the download album. It's been a frustrating 3 month wait and now this. Totally agree with you, have also downloaded the albums a number of times & cant do nothing with them ..... pissed also that C&C is not downloadable! Live4Love

i get the feeling he's sat there laughing at us! i had to change the mpls one from a zip to a rar, extract what was inside, then change that one to zip (or rar would probably also work) and then extract that one 2.

Hi Ven - Don't know if you got your problem sorted, but the only way I managed it was to download the files in MP3 and file them in my docs, then unzip the files. Set iTunes to be the preferred programme when listening to music. Open your unzipped file then right click and select 'open with' iTunes, then send each mp3 file/song to iTunes - it's a faffy ball ache and you'll have to change each 'track info' to add artist and album to set them all as one album. Hope this helps

I'm on a Mac iBook (1.42 GHz PowerPC G4) with 1.5 Gigs of DDR SDRAM. I'm running MacOSX.4 (Tiger) with all the current updates.
Okay. I tried to download LotusFlow3r as a WAV file last night using FireFox. I thought I had some success, but I should have known that 85.7 MB would not be enough for an album. When I tried to unzip the file using the BOMArchiveHelper 10.4.11 (the default app for zip files) I got the same error as this: airbak said: HELP! I'm on a Mac and I downloaded all 3 albums. I was unable to unzip Lotus Flow3r but nothing else! I get an error that says:
"Unable to unarchive "Mplsound_Mplsound_Mplsound.zip" into "Desktop". (Error 1 - Operation not permitted.) Okay. It should have been obvious that I didn't get the whole download. I just tried using Safari to download. This zipped file had a size of 456.9 MB. That sounded more like it. It automatically unzipped and left me with a folder simply labeled, "WAVE". I opened the folder and the individual songs play just fine in iTunes. Now for the real test of burning these to disc to see if they'll play in my car stereo. Hope that helps. It's 3:00am PST, so bug fixes in the files and lower traffic may have contributed to my success. I honestly didn't expect to get working downloads for at least a week, especially with a much hyped grand opening on a site pushing the limits of flash, browsers, and server loads. I'll toss my thoughts on the site in the other appropriate forums.

No, it's a damn shame you have to come here for help. This should be EASY and EFFORTLESS. If I released crap like this at my work, I wouldn't have a job anymore. . dont agree with you very often , bart , but you are right.....there is NO excuse for this to have been so difficult....not when you are paying good money for the privilege of getting annoyed and frustrated....i speak to my girlfriend if i want that....the only saving grace is that i have enjoyed the music once i actually got it....

i think they have tried to do too much at once, the site is so slow, the videos are choppy either in full screen or not and then sound on them keeps cutting out for a split second all the time, the videos are a complete waste of time.
for the mp3's and wav's I downloaded all fine except mplsound wav which I had to do 3 times as it was incomplete, the file sizes should be the following; Exiler_mp3 - 94.1mb Exiler_wav - 428mb Lotusflow3r_mp3 - 99.3mb Lotusflow3r_wav - 456mb Mplsound_mp3 - 101mb Mplsound_wav - 456mb I unzipped all of these with WinRAR (www.rarsoft.com) all I did was to click the downloaded file, and when it opened in WinRAR I select the album folder (ignoring the '_MACOSX' folder), in mp3 the folder was the album title and in wav it is the 'WAVE' folder and then click on 'extract to' and you can select where you want the folder to go. then once extracted in the album folder you will have a '.DS_Store' file, you can delete this. In the case of the mp3's if you are importing into iTunes and such you will notice there are no ID3 tags (This is what tells your audio software album title, song title and artist etc) so really it's rubbish as on your iPod the songs will not be referenced into Artist and Album etc. I tried to write these but it will not save to the mp3 file, for this I tried using ID3-TagITid3 (www.id3-tagit.de) but as I said did not work but you may know of a different tag writer that will work. In the case of the wav's I used a application called Exact Audio Copy (www.exactaudiocopy.de) with LAME 3.90.3 By Dibrom (http://www.ChrisMyden.com/uber/lame.exe) to encode these into mp3's using the --alt-preset extreme command, Then you can tag them with the aoftware detailed above as you have created the mp3's and will be able to write to them. also I have created album covers for my iPod just from printing screen on each of the download areas and cropping the album cover in photoshop to give me a little 175x175 which is fine for cover art on your iPod. Hope this helps and not a load of waffle.

I'm not sure if they're still up though. Lemme check.

Two tix thru Ticketmaster $196 Two tix thru Lotusflow3r $154 Big difference
