$77 ....so what are we actually getting???

does anyone know what we are actually getting for the $77 for the new website yet???....lets be honest here....as soon as music is released on the website ...it will be freely available on the big bad internet that same day but if he is willing to open up the vault then i WILL pay ....but it still seems very vague....so 3 new albums..ok...archive concert clips...streaming i take it...ok...t shirt...ok....access to possible concert tickets first...well that depends where he goes of course....but its this vague unreleased music that will decide weather i join or not...if we are getting 10 albums of unreleased music that has been mentioned then yes i am in....if its the odd track here and there then no....let us know what we are getting prince...come on !!

falloff "Boutique Quality" t-shirt, none-the-less.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

it seems to me that if you live in California and want to see him live a bunch of times it would be worth it.

if you live elsewhere and are waiting on 80s vault tracks, spend your money elsewhere. the great thing is, you know that details on every little thing will be posted here. resist the temptation to sign up on day one and read reviews here. if it sounds good, join. if it blows, save your cash.

I agree, who can afford to pay $77 and not even know what they are getting. I love Prince and I love his music and performances. I am a fan, but not obsessed with getting onto all these sights and spending countless hours navigating the internet - don't have the time for it!!! My husband clues me in because he knows I'm interested but don't have the time or patience for it. All the discreet and secretive antics just seem unnecessary.....Why should we be left wondering and searching and frustrated when we are just trying to support? I experienced the same issues today with ticketmaster as a lot of other people did, fortunately I was able to get two tix to Nokia Theatre which is all I really wanted at the time, but it wasn't easy!!!

i feel he has overpriced the website with what we know so far....i have spend thousands of pounds on prince over the years.....even flew from glasgow to minneapolis to the 2001 celebrations at paisley park so i feel it would be nice for him to give long time followers something back and give us a website at a fair price.....52 uk pounds is a lot of money to join a website ...if you can get get good concert seats then maybe but if that doesnt apply then no i cant see how its worth it...

It means exactly what it says. "Tru(sic) fans" will join immediately, don't ask silly questions, like "but is that all we get for our hard earned cash, a t-shirt, promotional materials that Prince can write off on his taxes, some embedded lo-res videos and downloads of available CDs?"

Because Prince knows that after the initial hype and disappointment by early adopters, the org and other fan sites will be privy to the lack of content and new memberships will be nearly non-existent.

Prince isn't dumb. He's just kind of a dick.

For $77 we're getting bad spellers.

There is no such thing as ya'll.

It is: y'all (a contraction of you and all; the apostrophe takes the place of the missing letters)

Additionally, there is no such thing as an elixer; the proper way to spell the word for Bria's CD title is: Elixir.

i truly don't believe prince is saying "if u're a tru fan u'll join immedi8ly." he's not detuned 2 the economy (even as a JW). he must certainly know some of his aficionados (fans) r down on their luck right now and scraping 2 get by. yet doing what they feel necessary 2 stay in the loop. like my recent purchase of 21 nights & the life & times just 2 name a couple.
