that's what i'm anticipating as well. it's also been reported that the liner notes will be made available online, so i wouldn't be looking for any extra goodies to bulk up the packaging. sadly. Particularly when it's being sold for $12. .....for some!

I saw this. Please dont ask me where or how but I saw the prototype. It was 3 fold all the same blue hue color and when you open it it had pictures of Prince and Bria. Bria on the left side I think. I saw it for half a second and thats its. Super cheap packaging.

I just had an insane thought.
Surely access to these online booklets wouldn't require membership to Lotusflow3r now would it? ...You never know?

Doesn't USPS have a flat rate envlope? ($12.95)
See http://www.usps.com/price...prices.htm Priority Mail Flat-Rate Envelope or Priority Mail Small Flat-Rate Box Same price, up to 4 pounds (US pounds, I guess). Shipping can go down to $10.95 depending on destination, lower that page. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I would'nt be able to fit,say 5 of these sets in an envelope, and if they are going to be traveling a far amount of distance,I would hate for them to arrive all bent, and banged up. Thank for the help though. I am going to go to both USPS,and UPS to get price quotes. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

CD's (in jewel case?) with bubbly plastic or other cushioning should be fine.
At least some cardboard on botth sides? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Digipak: it's the way to go. The jewel cases usually crack and such. Not to mention all of his recent CD's have been released as such.
Musicology, 3121, and P.Earth all Digipak. A large jewel case or the older jewel cases don't make sense, and will be limited due to size. The digipak can be compact and smaller, not to mention more put on the shelves.

Digipaks are custom made and hard to replace.
They don't last long. They age with every on/off the shelf action. So they are not the way. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

At least some cardboard on botth sides? Okay so I went, and put 5 Digipack CD's in a Express Mail cardboard envelope, and the quote I got for Poland (since that is one of the shipping places I needed) it is the $12.95 for Flat Rate (6 days delivery),and if you want it faster it's $$$ Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

So they are not the way. yeah, but these days most folks buy the CD, rip 'em to their iPods, then put the CD back on the shelf until they need to rip/burn it again. so it could be argued that sturdy packaging isn't quite as much of a need as it used to be.

By the way, is this in the forum?
CD packaging of something people will most likely not by online (i.e. the physical discs), isn't really anything to do with lotusflow3r.com, is it?

Use Apple lossless format to import them, play them back with an iPod/iPhone dock or an Apple TV and there is really no need for a CD player. And a stack of CD's doesn't consume energy like a NAS/SAN/PC would do if you'd store all the music on there. And the ipod still doesn't play FLAC, APE or SHN, does it?
