 Not to be a pud....nor am I coming down on you personally because I know many will post this same question... repeatedly. A basic... very basic aspects of a internet technology is to record the IP address of web surfers. IP address=location. They do not need your address to know you live in a particular location. When you visit the site... just as it was for the 'Purple Ticket' winners... software can easily associate your location to your E-mail for purposes of contacting you... via your IP Address. Now if you're some cyber geek terrorist or something bouncing your IP address across the globe through Russia or something... that's different. [Edited 2/19/09 0:28am]  For the record, dynamic IP addresses are now standard with higher speed internet connections and wireless internet connections, so many bounce.
Not that I believe that's how the "winners" were or will be picked, for one second but my good nature compels me to advise Cali fans that aren't sure if their IP bounces to call their internet providers. [Edited 2/19/09 11:44am] I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. | |

I agree. First post is still misleading. You could say, "Possible" concert? But the way it reads one would think that a concert will happen. The 22nd seems to be important enough to note on the website, but for what, only a select few in the purple troupe know. I doubt any of us will know anything until this weekend. Noooo... Please pick me!!! I flew all the way to Cali 1/31 from Indianapolis, Indiana..anticipating a show!! (First time flying...first time to LA!) My husband and I enjoyed the trip but we really wanted to see Prince!! We ended up site seeing and visiting friends  | |

I don't understand why people think there is a contest just because the date on the ticket changed. Maybe that's just his way of hinting a new scrap of paper will appear in the barren wasteland of lotusflower. Besides, I wouldn't consider the 1/31 thing a contest, it was an invitation.
My info is in the system so P. & co. already know how to contact me.  Why would I clog the system entering it again? I'd think entering too many times is bad--it makes you look desperate.

Prince Oscar Afterparty Update
Posted in Celebrity Gossip, Celebrity News, Entertainment, Music on February 19th, 2009 by drfunkenberry Ok everyone. Hope you had a great day. I could go on but that’s not really why you are reading this is it? So here is the up to date deal along with the seal of don’t shoot the messenger; Expect the concert to start around midnight on Sunday. There was a little bit of drama going on with the venue and wanting it to be free for the the fans is just not do-able. It was tried and asked but did not happen. Some of these things sometimes are clusterf*&#@, but always works out in the end and is def worth it. Fans will have the opprotunity to purchase tickets. I word it like that because plain and simple, these parties are usually good at delivering a good butt-whupping of funk. I do not know price yet but you know as soon as I know, I will let you all know. I can tell you what price sho sound good to me. I would HIGHLY recommend this for people in Los Angeles and surrounding cities only. These things are fickle plans can change at the drop of a hat, and to fricken fly here on a whim…well you better have back up plans. That is your decision and yours only. You don’t know how many tickets are going to be sold or how many people would be allowed in. Just saying straight out, there will be enough L.A. fans and celebs fighting for those spots. We clear n cool? Cool. Let’s see..am I forgetting something…. Fedora..check… mani..pedi…check. Where It’s At? Man, that’s a good song by Beck. ……….Oh chill, you know the doctor may tease but in the end I like to please…..
