i dont think its greedy to ask for payment for entertainment. that said, i will not be paying to join any club. if that means i dont see a show or get exclusive material, i'm ok with that.

So long as it allows access to unreleased music, then I'll gladly pay. Don't really see what the problem was with NPGMC, had some good years with that. He should have left the DRM servers on but otherwise, it was all good.

I buyed crystal ball, I payed for npgmc mp3's, I payed for the 4cds, I did not payed the last NPGMC and I will not pay this one. My numbers are 38 and 77: 38 is my age and I feel sad to see prince thinking I need a flash videogames to access his 'universe' of b-side like discojellyfish (r.i.p.). This webside is sad, and it is sad his marketing way to sell music. I have interest in lotusflow3r album, so I'll wait a way to buy it. Stop. No interest in photos, video, elixer, perfume, mug, chain, rings and other fans things. The second number is 77. Those are money, and I think money and ways to have money with everyday work needs respect. Not flash videogames for credit card users, sorry.

People are assuming that the website is going to cost $77 but we don't know that for sure. What if the price is less than that, around what it cost to join NPGMC in 2003 when it was $25? Would it be easier for people to join it that way?

I do not feel that I have paid anywhere near THOUSANDS of dollars, however I am NOT one of those people that want to live with "free" Mp3's that are low quality.
I do not want to steal his work, therefore I will pay for the music.
I do enjoy what NPGMC brought to me and I feel that it paid for itself, so YES I was a member and YES I will pay again to be a member.
I will get access to things that non-payers wont have access to, and I will be happy about that.
