its a top notch, well produced RnB jam, if i heard this not knowing the prince involvement, i would say the same. i love the groove of it and the synth blips after the chorus...reminds me of top neptunes productions....but better due to the real instruments and none loops. 7/10 with time to grow more. I really like this track, im impressed with her music so far but will wait to see what the whole album sounds like before i give a solid opinion. Sure - wouldn't be right to form an opinion on the basis of one or two songs we've heard. Still - I wouldn't even call this song 'smooth jazz', would you? Nineties pop. Mmm, maybe that's not right either. It just sounds VERY Prince Copy That. I want to hear the whole albumn Prince's Sarah | |

But we know. | |

"Another Boy" will do well on r&b stations. I'm going to give credit where its due. "Another Boy" has the right r&b flow and pretty much what a lot of young folks would appreciate listening to. If P's team choose to shop it to radio stations, a station that plays mainly r&b would be a good choice. I just listened to it again, and it does have a nice flow, and catchy.
