Some good, positive feedback from NPGMC! A couple of days ago I was ranting and raving because NPGMC were not returning any of my emales and I was getting frustrated at this. Well, I voiced my complaints and I have 2 say that I am happy with the reply I had. Very straight forward, no riddles and a quick response.
We are all quick 2 jump on their backs when we feel hard done by by the NPGMC, but I would like 2 give credit where credit is due. It seems that they are listening 2 our concerns and working 2 meet us in the middle. Here is my emale... Hello I would like to know about membership 4 2003, and when the payment is due please so that I can budget ahead. We xpect it 2 begin on January 1, 2003 I would also like 2 find out if U have a rough approximation 4 when delivery of my One Nite Alone Live box set might arrve in England, as I will have 2 make sure someone in my household will be home 2 recieve it. The CDs r being sent now. U can check with npg@gage.com 4 further details on it's arrival. U can also go 2 the MEMBER RETAIL section and click on UR ACCOUNT 2 get some more info. Do U know the method of delivery in England? Please ask npg@gage.com. Tho they r on holiday in the U.S. until Monday. The other point that I wish 2 raise is that I am not getting some of the emales that other NPGMC members get. Sometimes I get them a day or 2 later, and in some cases this is 2 late 2 book tickets 4 events. Is there a techincal problem with my account that U are aware of? We will be implementing a new emale process next year. This year there is a delay because it sends an emale 2 each individual member and that takes time. Thank u 4 the feedback. I am writing because I am very disillusioned right now with the NPGMC. I have sent many emales over the last few months and I have recieved only one reply. I have paid $100 2 become a member and I feel that this is no way 2 treat someone who has paid money that they didn't have 2 become a member. I do not have a filter blocking mass emales and my emale address is correct in my profile. I have asked countless questions in previous emales and had no responses at all. And I don't always get the mass emales that U send out. I'm not just writing to bitch and moan, but with a suggestion. Maybe U could have a system where U send a comfirmation of recieving an emale from a fam when it is recieved. I don't expect immediate replies, but within a few days would be cool. There are many upset fans out there right now and I am trying 2 be proactive and voice my disgruntlements 2 U, in order that U may be able 2 do something about it. I feel that the NPGMC has huge potential, but in order 2 keep paying customers U have 2 try and be courteous. I hope I might hear something from U in response 2 this? Not wanting to sound negative, but isn't it a bad situation when a decent response from the NPGMC is cause for someone to post here and tell people about it?
Don't get me wrong, this is nice to read. However, it shouldn't be the exception that prompts someone to want to tell other people about it. Responses like this should be the norm. I hope that you know where I'm coming from and realise that in no way at all am I having a go at you. 2 U and thanks for sharing this post with us.

I have always received an answer to my e-mails...always.
And they have always been polite...usually signed by Laura. So...how's everybody doing?

I used to get a reply, not signed which bugged the hell out of me every time (but okay...) but when I asked them for any info on cd's and the 100$ rotterdam aftershow they remained quiet. You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

Oops, they are on holiday over there? Guess that's the reason why I haven't heard back from them...
See, there's (almost) always a reason for something.
