My opinion but I was told I would get 4 cds this year, guess how many I got "4".

Also got to see a 35 min soundcheck (with discussion), excellent show and a 1.5 hour awesome intimate aftershow.

Not bad in my book.

Then there's postage which is either International or UPS...

Then someone has 2 pay the people that run the club and answer our emales and send out our CD's...

Maybe some of the membership fees cover the cost of hiring out a nightclub 4 an aftershow (Which really sucks 4 our fellow fans in Zimbabwe, cuz they ain't getting no concert, let alone an aftershow!)

The MP3's and Wallpaper downloads (OK, now I'm really scraping the barrel!!)

I guess looking at it from this point of view, $100 isn't actually all that bad??

i just got back in town and opened my set. it arrived on the 26th. it was a long wait, yeah, and information from the NPGMC was sketchy but it's cool by me (now) because in a way, not knowing exactly what would be inside actually enhanced the surprise of opening the package. i'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. like sending in for the decoder ring.

imo NPGMC fulfilled the terms of their contract with us. they came through, on time. and me, i like the set. the packaging is interesting, the photos are nice. the booklet reads a little like a documentary it's clearly a new phase in prince's life.

i see it as this year's releases are a 'best of' collection, only live.

New CDs wouldn't been nice but P is still givin' us "The FunK". just wish it was New Funk...

I remember being at the Dallas show and one of the guys behind me was bragging that he knew that Prince was going to release the 4 cds in the book. I commented to him that u never know. I told him that this is Prince and he changes his mind like the wind blows. We ALL should know that by now. I'm not surprised, nor upset that we didn't get the other 3 listed cds in the tourbook. I would LOVE to have Xenophobia, but until Prince decides to release it, I'll have to wait like everyone else.
