I'm also glad to see some fans are realistic because others would find him gorgeous no matter what Now, I think we can give him credit for not using plastic surgery and age naturally... so I think. Ooooh daaamn. I go to sleep early last night, and look at what I missed. This is cool; I'm happy to see this website being unveiled. I gotta check it out now, see what's up. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Is this were fans come to admire Prince or degrade him? That picture looks okay to me. He looks better than some 50 year olds. I like how he is giving us a little at a time. It keeps you coming back to see whats different. But for those who are upset and spend all day everyday in front of the computer wanting more I guess it's a total let down. Ouick question, do the people who spend every min. in front of the computer waiting for something not have jobs? Now I'm not trying to be funny, this is a question I've been thinking about. So don't take this the wrong way. Anyway, Thanks "Mr. Electrician" my sockets are charged everyday.[color=darkblue][/color "Love 2 C U Smile!"

You know composing music, writing the lyrics and bringing it together is the most detail specific thing to do. It's like cooking the greatest meal ever for all the guests you ever wanted to invite into your life forever. Would you *yourself*; honestly, not want to offer the best you can to those you would like to have the best of?
I think it is honorable... even in my own item...I myself have changed my mind when I am going to release things; infact, I pushed something back that was going to be released last night myself for the sole purpose that I didn't feel that it was good enough to let it go presently. You can create what ever you want; however, IT IS highly admirable and loving to give the best and if it takes what ever amount of experience to get that then... so be it. This is his life, his love and his passion to which that degree of giving is moreso than just getting up, going to work and doing things just to get them done. If you really care about people then you want to offer up the best you can in any and all capacity. IF this was your life in creating music, experience and stories...would you not want the best for yourself to share same with others? Ask yourself, what do I do best and when I want people to enjoy the best - how much pressure do you apply to yourself at that very moment? Music is like making love... it all depends on how much you let loose and truly open yourself up to... in order to offer true love to another for it is the FREQUENCY OF ONE. With that being said... Have some compassion, patience and support - the wait is worth more than a king's randsom in gold. Take care, Respectfully QuiestSeven

but you would also have to be realistic and expect your guests to grow hungry and grumpy if you kept yelling "dinner's about to be served" and left them sitting at the table for 7 hours with breadsticks and only a nice smell coming from the kitchen. why invite hungry people over to your house at 1 when you know you are not going to feed them until well past 10? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Maybe he'll add a feature where you can set it on replay from the cassette player to repeat a song. I mean, after all, it is a cassette player [Edited 1/31/09 22:19pm] sorry, like I said, I was just hoping there was a trick I missed and your choice of words had me hopeful. I hope you'll soon be able to play more than one song at a time instead of this style over substance method. Software isn't supposed to model the real world just for cuteness that carries with it the worst parts of what it's modeling (i.e. having to change tapes after each song). I hold out hope that the full site will have a better model. [Edited 1/31/09 22:34pm] Me too.

Dear IstenSzek: Simply because it isn't the time that matters (that is man made) it is the offering that is eternal. It is symbolic... but you thought materialistically. When you love to do something for people... (in deeds) you don't think about time because time isn't what you are offering... what you are offering is the experience in what you create. Which is whatever you offer to others. And...here is the more detail oriented notation for you: It would be an 8 course meal NOT served together but served throughout 24 hours - if you can stay up that long...(I posted this one just for you) - smile. Symbolism in energy = a frequency of love with the energy written in the book of life. Take Care, Respectfully, QuietSeven Edited: Please have a wonderful day! [Edited 2/1/09 7:07am]

Well, they sure cranked it out at the 11th hour, didn't they?
I have to say, I like what I'm seeing. I kinda expected to hit the motherlode like when NPGMC spewed forth with tons of goodies when "Musicology" came out, but that's okay. For me, what we got last night was a good enough intro for whatever's in store. The design is fun, and I'm really digging the new instrumental. Good times.

Very simple, click on people's profile and you will see how many times people are on this website on average. I don't think they have no jobs, I just think they give their opinions without trying to offense anyone in particular. This is precisely the reason why this website was created. I, personally like when people do not find everything perfect about Prince yet loving him still. I give more credit to their statements.

[Subject title changed, Text inserted - luv4u] And Tonight, the unveiling… More prized than a trip to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory are the invitations granted for tonight’s unveiling of Prince’s latest galactic web project, lotusflow3r.com . Press invitees include Steve Appleford of Rolling Stone; Benjamin Trott from Six Apart; Kat Corbett from KROQ; Danny Shea and Katherine Thomson, music and entertainment editors from The Huffington Post; Emily McKay from NME and Edna Gunderson of USA Today. Also invited to the secret soiree are 3 select Purple Ticket winners, whose names have been withheld to protect what’s left of their innocence. The plan since the beginning has been to show the work to the press today, while anticipation builds for the official opening. Following the special preview, guests will be treated to an hour-long concert in the funkiest house in the Hills. After that, we hear the band plans to crash Clive Davis’ party with an Alicia Keys joint they’ve rearranged. With a beginning like this, no doubt this year is about to be stellar! (This sounds really fun. Purple ticket holders aka lucky dogs. Can’t wait to hear about it.)-DR.FB sure hope he doesn't use this pic on the cd/album. it wouldn't be so bad if he would just "learn to smile". Lemme

Anyway, on topic: I found the 'opening' of Lotusflow3r a bit disappointing, to say the least. After a month of anticipation, we end up on another teaser site. Not really great (online) marketing thinking... But let's wait and see, maybe he will broadcast a streaming vid of that press event, with that supposed hour-long performance. (Hey, a man can dream, right? ) i am disappointed as well. Lemme

A little along the lines of what Quietseven said:
I believe artists/anybody who creates something should be completely free of all constraints, including from their audience/fans. They should be able to work/create in total freedom. That's the essence of art/creation to me. So let's not throw demands and deadlines at them... I won't lie, after last night & seeing what we have there. I thought we'd get a little bit more this morning but it's the same thing, so I have to admit, I'm a little bit disappointed that we don't have more at this time BUT I am happy that something is happening and I still anticipate more stuff coming our way where lotusflow3r is concerned. My life will continue. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
