i imagine these people in real life. it's like you're sitting at a table with them and they keep saying "i like your jacket, it's my favorite shade of blue" and you keep yelling "it's yellow, alright my jacket is fucking YELLOW". and they just go "yeah that's what i say, nice deep blue jacket". 4 those of us that have traveled to Minneapolis dozens of times or live there know that this is Most definitely the Minneapolis skyline. As 4 "the rock of gibraltar", if u know anything about travel to the Mediterranean/Spain/ Morocco as does Prince and Mayte and many of us on this site, u would not dare question The Rock of Gibraltar. For knowledge sake....google a pic of the Minn. skyline as well as " The Rock of Gibraltar". Enough of this nonsense. This is elementary stuff,,,no one should have 2 take there precious time repeating a skyline that they see everyday to some folks that are determined to make it NY, Chicago, or wherever....It is what it is Minneapolis and The Rock of Gibraltar period!!!! yes, I'm taking this one personal 4 Prince's sake!!!! Well, I may as well join in on all the fun and try and guess what the images on his website may represent.
Maybe the blue lights behind the Minneapolis skyline represents the Minneapolis sound. The blue part looks like a sea of some sort like a cup runneth over washing away the sins. The part of his face in the pic enclosed in a crystal ball surrounded by a lotus flower, well I have no idea what it means. Maybe the rocks represent rock music....okay now that last assumption was just an attempt of not really knowing what any of that content on that site symbolizes, but... that's all I got folks.
Maybe Prince will summon a journalist or radio personality to interview him at his house, and he will reveal what the content on his site symbolizes... Or maybe, just maybe, when ticket sales happen. he'll have a contest to see who gets the true meaning of some of the content on there. As having a flair 4 suspense, "build-up", anticipation, etc, Prince is just lovin' it. Observing how folks react... it's fun. Exactly when he drops it (releases the 2 albums we need 2 hear), not many will know. Personally, I love and understand this type of humour, and at the same time, understand the "meaning" of timing.
