Ok this is gonna sound random and it could just be that I wasn't paying that much attention before but has anyone else noticed that at the bottom of the female figures foot there's a message basically stating that "in order to get the most of the experience you have to surrender your expectations"? I can't do Prince shorthand I'm too sleepy. But if anyone else notices it let me know so I know it wasn't sleep deprivation.

Basically, they're telling us that as an organization, their goal is to provide piss-poor products & services, so anything they do after that seems like an improvement. Either that, or just "pay us & you better be satisfied with what we give you."

Message noted, NPGMC. And I will not be rejoining next year (if there is one).

y'all are funny, i know there have been massive problems this year but i was spoiled out the wazoo with membership this year so i really can't complain too much, the only thing i missed out on was the first soundcheck in chicago and that was partially my fault for not dragging along my laptop to check my email, even though that bit of information could have been given the night before so i won't take the whole blame for that, i probably will rejoin next year but this is my one present to myself every year and thus far it's been good

i think the statement could be applied to the ONA 4CD set and to membership in general.

i'm one of those people who wanted more information about the set. but, in the end, not knowing exactly what was inside the box was fun when i finally opened it. and, i like the discs inside too which helps. listened to aftershow first. sounds like a friday jam.

when you think of it, it's actually impressive that prince toured as much as he did this year and still managed to put the box set together, booklet, poster, pictures and all.

When I renew my membership next year, I'll write in the "memo" line of my check, "in order to get the most of my membership, you have to surrender your expectations of this check clearing."
