Sorry, I just don't know what more to say to people's complaints about the club. I'm satisfied, but understand that many people aren't. Make your dissatisfaction heard next year by keeping your $100 in your pocket. I'll consider what is being offered before I give mine.

It might be. I'm still hoping for a DVD...but if that doesn't happen, I'm hoping it will at least be offered for sale at a discounted price.

I think the best thing NPGMC could do to keep its existing membership after this disappointing year would be to offer the next year's membership at a 25% discount. If he did something like that, I'd take a chance on another year - and heck, it's not like the price would drop for the new members who could very well join by way of word-of-mouth from existing members who had been done right by Prince.

But we're talking about someone who gets by on technicalities and word puzzles and calls it "business", so I'm just typing to keep my fingers fit, I guess.

There's no way this is it... no way! I have to believe that more is to come... it keeps me sane!

i think the only way of making amends is 25% discount for next year. If he does that atleast it means he knows he has made an effort to recify the failings for this year.

At the age of 44, after releasing a CD of new material, putting together a 3 CD set of high quality live recordings, and touring North America, Europe, and Japan, this has been an extremely busy year for Prince, and I doubt that he'll feel that he needs to "rectify the failings for this year." He's going to want to take it easy in 2003. And you're hoping that he'll do MORE?? Let's hear about how much you have done this year.

Well, Persian, I didn't defend the $100 price tag... But I really don't think that Prince is going to be sitting at home on Christmas day thinking, "Gee, I really didn't do enough for my fans this year." The price of the club is still up for debate, and I really have no idea how much it costs to send a box set to each person (I don't think the ONA CD cost too much to ship).

And congrats on the screen plays, Persian. If they ever get major release, think of the ridiculous ticket price for a movie these days and lower the price of tickets for your movies so that more of your fans can afford to go.

And I'm glad I could provide you with the "stupidest thing ... ever heard on these pages." Selling your existing Prince stuff in order to earn membership for 2003 is the stupidest thing I have ever "heard" on these pages. Get back to work and sell those scripts. Sure, it's work, but I think you can do it.
