Well aren't you just a sweetheart. You gave them TEN whole days to respond. Generous. Have you heard back from the BBB? How many days are you giving them to straighten out the whole mess before you go to the Attorney General? Or is the FBI next on your list? Actually, ten days is more than enough time for any reasonably active customer service division to reply. Especially considering the fact that two previous inquiries I sent months ago went ENTIRELY IGNORED. Yes, I've heard back from the BBB, & yes, it has gotten me results. And yes, some people actually want what they've been told they are paying for & won't settle for just what they're given. | |

Maybe, just maybe, if we're succesful, we can bring about the collapse of his despotic empire so that no more will his reign of terror stand. No more NPGMC! NO more Box Sets, No more aftershows! imagine a day when no one will be forced into memberships costing $100 where all you get is what they actually promised! Oh.. by the way, I don't think I can be with you folks for the coup. I'm gonna be busy for the next year or so exploring the brilliance of the new box set. There is one final thing that I'm curious about. While you're chatting with the BBB is ONA going to be playing in the background? I sure hope not, cuz if they hear it you may get put on hold while they get online to sign up with the NPGMC! Oh the irony! | |

Let me put it this way: IF he toured u'r country (area) and IF he would send out another cd (from the tourbook i understand he has plenny laying around) and IF communication would improve, this would've been a GREAT year, nobody would b complaining and most would b willing 2 renew their membership, even without knowing what was comming next year. At least i no i would. I like the cd-shipping formula, bcause downloads r easier 2 get from kazaa than they r from the NPGMC server. I guess the XCELLENT soundcheck i attended made it all worth this year, but since that won't b happing next year, it looks like i will just wait out and c. All this whining, complaining and bitchin even drives me up the wall. I cannot even turn to a post without there being some negativity towards Prince. It makes me wonder how some of you claim to be "fans". I understand all of the frustrations, but give the man and his staff and opportunity to clean up and improve. I am sure that Prince lives a pretty comfortable life, but if he didn't charge for club membership, concert tickets, admission
to the celebration, HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO DISTRIBUTE, MARKET OR TOUR HIS MUSIC. FOR GOD'S SAKE, try to stop whining all the time. We don't really care who does not join the club. If you want to report Prince or not join his club, don't tell, I, and I am sure many fans are sooo tired of hearing you guys rant, rant, rant, rant about this topic. Tammy, oops I mean Tom, if you really read my post I did mention that I had joined some organization/clubs that were full of flaws. Hey, but I guess becuz I give most people the opportunity to "clean and fix" the flaws, I don't complain while they are in infancy. It would be different the the club was still functioning the same way after 4-5 yrs, then I would understand. But, my GOD, all YOU do is freakin whine, cry, complain, rant, discourage, encourage, should I go on. I am by no means "obsessed with Prince, that was in my teenage days. I read the org, but I stopped posting after reading all the awful, downright ugly posts about Prince, Mani, the club, etc. Now, I will only comment on posts that I feel are totally unjust. I want to come to this board to hear praise AND contructive critizism. Again, if you don't like the club, which we know and have heard 1000 times over and over again, GET OUT!!! Try to settle your business with the club, BBB, hell if you feel just, contact an attorney. If a club sends you a book or record you didn't ask for you are under no obligation to pay for it. Is there a big neon sign over your head that says SUCKER? I have taken my chances with other "clubs", some sucked, some did fairly a good jobs, some bombed, some improved. BUT i have never written a letter to the BBB. When I was growing up my mother would contact any company if she bought something & it was 100% right. Almost every company would reply & most would go overboard to make the consumer happy.
I do the same thing. I order a book thru the mail & the dust jacket is damaged - I complain. Jewel case damaged in shipping - I complain. NPGMC Year 2 - When the year ends & if I feel I can accomplish something (aside from venting) I will write NPGMC with a complaint letter. Not a FU letter. | |
