Y did the Tokyo Club members peaceably CHECK their cameras when asked, as opposed 2 SMUGGLING them in2 the establishment and trying 2 snap shots incognito? Needless 2 say, security was pleasantly surprised!

"Y" does Prince have such a bug up his ass about fans taking his picture? Not everyone is out to make money off his image - some just don't want to spend $40 on a program when they can walk away with a more personal memory, like a picture they took.

November 17:
One has 2 wonder...
Y the MIDRIFF-BARING CRAZE hasn't hit the Japanese women yet...nor the propensity 4 obesity. In America, sometimes these 2 go hand-in-hand.(funkface goes here!)

"Y" do people in Asia eat dog? Maybe it has slimming nutrients?

HAMAMATSU:
Guess PRINCE got his snooze on, cuz he sho ROCKED Act City, like t'wasn't no 2morrow! Whoever said Hamamatsu don't party- was smokin' crack, cuz those freaks got BUSY! Speaking of crack- did u'all c that last dude who was dancing so far ahead of the beat- he was in2 his next LIFE? HE WAS COOL!

Nope, can't say I saw him. Or that I'd much care. Memo to Prince - news like this isn't what club members paid $100 for. We want our music.

I think that they should re-name Paisley News as Pointless, Totally Uninteresting Potentially Offensive Paisley Ramblings.

Americans aren't obese. They're just too short for their weight. About a meter or so. (fuckface goes here!)

Now, if only they could write a smart three-liner about the
non-info policy they've instated at the start of the club,
perhaps we could all laugh -midriff baring obese members
included.

Sounds like they need to get hip with the eastern sphere
since they already stepped on too many dicks and tits over
here on the western part of the globe.

Religious, overdressed and thin, heterosexual members aside
this club seems to have a lot of negative vibes toward the
rest of us. My my, what a narrow scope they boast.

Should we say, re-recorded "Mutiny" in 2003 NPGMC:

We're talking
Scrutiny,
Think it over
stuck on a bible tip
shoulda been a little more hip

[funkface goes here, indeed]

I agree totally.

More fish.

Smaller portions. (Ever seen a Japanese grocery store?)

Different genetics.

And Japan has always been behind the times on fashion. They are still into the "trenchcoat mafia" and "s8r w3@r". Give them a few years. They'll come around.

Plus, the way they are educated is TOTALLY different than the western world.

Simple fact: They are not more advanced then others. They are not better. They are different.

They just cater more to the philosopies of a control freak...

Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another

U have written my thoughts here Dauphin.
But surly the provercation is intentional ...Why ??

Agitate the agregate... hmmm

The whole affair gets more gangsterish by the minute, I keep expecting someone to show up on stage with a Buggsy Malone splurg gun and "White out" the club members!!

We can only hope that Prince picks up some Zen while he is there, "It's not what U know but what U can learn" !! smile

I learn so much from the NPGMC. I hope they can teach me about other ways we judge people before this year's membership ends, like maybe how Germans don't bite their fingernails as much as Americans, or how Canadians have cleaner streets. All equally as stupid as this nonsense about the lack of Japanese obesity. Has Prince never seen a sumo wrestler? Large people are everywhere, and it's not always eating habits that cause obesity.

If they spent half as much time focusing on m-u-s-i-c as they do rambling about this senseless stuff, maybe we'd have our CDs by now...or at least another download besides one from year 1 and another that's we're getting with ONA live.

that's because security didn't even notice the tiny fake button cameras also tagged onto members' suits. the larger more noticeable cameras were just decoys, silly.

that's because the 16-year-old-girl-hooker craze is in control, making those prim school uniforms the ultimate in sexy. high school girls with pagers going off, leaving the school yard to meet businessmen on lunch break for a fifty minute interlude at the local love hotel. selling their used underwear in vending machines.

the propensity for obesity won't hit japan because they have more rigorous physical training for all students; martial arts, etc. also, japanese cultivate an awareness of the link between mind and body - something not many americans acknowledge. i believe this difference stems from the different religious perspectives. christian theology advocates man's distinction (man as specially created by god in his image) from the animal kingdom and nature. japanese religions (buddhism and shinto, mainly) seem to advocate man's union with the animal kingdom and nature. i doubt japan will ever be obese like we are.

hamamatsu mori san? i didn't know they were smoking crack over there. they have pretty strict laws about all that stuff in japan. but i guess anything's possible.

Perhaps the comments on the NPGMC site were not meant to be any more than interesting observations and "food for thought" so to speak; however, as with any culture there are always things one can find that might be judged as "good" as well as ones which are judged as not desirable - again depending on one's perspective.
Your point about the Sumo wrestler - a good one. But keep in perspective that they advocate for the weight to be advantageous in wrestling - it is not exactly the norm for Japanese culture.
Our American lifestyle that focuses on the heavy consumption of meat and animal products, and our general sedentary lifestyle is a big factor (although - again not the only factor) in our size / weight.
But I understand people don't like being preached to - because often it is frequently done by those who profess some sort of self-righteousness. I hope you don't place me in the category - as I am not trying to preach...only to consider the context of the posting on the NPGMC...and that it may have been to merely generate thought and conversation - not necessarily to offend.
I know the Music Club is certainly not the first to make some of these observations on general cultural differences. Between the east and west - however we always must keep in mind that there is diversity in all cultures and in the end we have to appreciate each other for our individuality.

I just had a thought! You know how news means matter that is newsworthy, according to the dictionary? Perhaps that's why it reads Newz... lol That totally changes the meaning to, matter that is newzzzworthy!
