i think membership is worth it's money $100= £65 in the uk.
4 cd's 4 row at concert. wife meets prince and talks to him. thats worth £65 just to keep her quiet. i shakes hands with prince at after party and he grins when i call him princeebaby. last night i spent £65 getting drunk and feeling sick this morning, but what a night? ok maybe i got lucky, but so what. if i didn't pay £65 i wouldn't have done this , but i'd still pay £65 to go on the piss.

I'm sure you paid extra for the concert, and if $100 = £65, then I'd love to know which credit card you used, because my membership worked out at £75 approx and as I recall, other UK members told me at the time that THAT was a good exchange rate.
Also, you haven't received 4 CDs yet. And if ONA live completes the membership CDs, then it's definitely not value for money. I don't care how much you spend on getting drunk.

exchange was about £70.
so what! still worth every penny. and if you was intrested about me getting drunk then i think we would all have to get a bit worried.

in NZ dollars - $100 US = approx $210... not good value when 4 example - I got the 'exclusive' Rave IN2 CD in a 2nd hand bin at a Auckland store for NZ $18 -thats about $10 US currency...including overnight courier from Auckland to Dunedin (about 1500kms - 1200 miles or so) - glad I didn't join last year...not sure if I am happy this year now that I joined almost 8 months ago and still have only 1 cd - and the hope of 3 more - that will be in shops before 2 long anyway...hope we get something extra - otherwise I'll b saving my $$ next year...

I'm not really having a go at you for thinking that the NPGMC is worth the money - we've all got different opinions on that, but you're still suggesting that the concert tickets for you and your wife were covered by your £70.

yes concert tickets were extra.
but if i was not a member would i have been to the soundcheck and met prince as he took a walk? NO i think people take the npgmc too serious. chill out and get wild

U do eh? well, eye see the other side of it. Some people didnt attend concerts, and feel that a short piano cd and a live box set that will be in retail isnt really worth the money. so unless he plans on telling us if we recieve more, eye can see some people takin this serious, but not taking over their whole life, dont get the two confused.
