OK I know this has been said like a thousand times already but honestly,come on people...

So ONA live is on its way,its hardly fresh or new material dare I say that a good percentage of people on the org already have recordings of the ONA shows?

Yes Im pleased that its on the way but it hardly lives up to the promises of the NPGMC that we would receive 4 CD's of new material exclusive to the club.

I have recently sent a couple of very polite , civil emails to the club regarding these points and yet again I have had no response from them.

not 2 complain or anything but as it's been said EARLIER by A LOT of NPGMC Members they won't b happy with what they're gonna get.

There is no need to complain. If you are not happy with the club don't sign up again for year 3. It's as simple as that.

I wouldn't let something as simple as the NPGMC "seriously piss you off" because it's not a healthy attitude. He's just a musician releasing music and it's not the end of the of the world if you get another cd or not and it really shouldn't effect your life much. At least I hope not.

I know you're going to say something like I paid my hard-earned money for the club and Prince is ripping me off...but Prince even if he doesn't send anything else has delivered on the basic promises that the club made and it's up to you to decide if you were happy enough with year two to sign up for year three.

I'm going to say that you don't have many SOUNDBOARD recordings of this tour. At best you have the 5-song Ep given to radio stations. So yeah it is fresh. Damn people have been waiting 20 years or more for a live recording and now people are complaining that it's not new or fresh. I guess you are the person that actually wouldn't rebuy boots if they were released officially.

It doesnt really matter if you do have a ONA live recording already...the fact of the matter is you shouldnt so,if Prince sends taht out as prt of the membership then,as far as he is conerned its new to you.

The only issue should be if this is the last of the 2002 membership - I think it is, after all it would make 4 discs as promised and there isnt time for anything else. That doesnt mean that I like the idea because,to me,it doeesnt take much creativity to bang together a recording of your recent shows...but then the NPGMC never have done anything but the bare minimum.

Its just sad to me that Prince has let this opportunity to realise his vision slip this year. Back in 95 he boasted that,if he wanted,he could give away music or sell it to his fans. The whole slave issue was about them squashing his cretaivity but,now that hes free,he seems to be doing even less and rubbing people up the wrong way.

Oh well Im looking forward to teh boxset and praying that its not the last thing I'll get for my $100 this year...but I think it is.
