Proposal to NPGMC - What you think?

An album that is fan selected. In saying that, post on NPGMC, a selection of 100 unreleased and fans can choose 10 tracks...the poll would close at a given date and P can determine the 20 most popular tracks that were chosen by fans and release that album. i think most would agree that this would CREATE A SENSE OF INPUT for club members.

I think it's a cool idea but have you brought this up to NPGMC and if so what was their response?
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Didn't Prince do something similar to this at one of the Celebrations for the proposed Crystal Ball 2 CD?
Still waiting...

That would B an excellent thing 4 NPGMC to do, he did do a similar thing for the set list of "ACT 2" also, but it would make U feel like U have really done something.

But whats 4 them to have a set list already prepared b4 voting starts and then just releasing what they wanted 2 anyway, everyones choice should B available 2 view so we can see that they aint cheating!!

A great idea but in my experience a lot of NPGMC members have real bad taste in music and only like the pop side of things...

I just know I would get the CD I would least like to listen to. How many didn't/don't like The Rainbow Children? That to me is why I like Prince...FUNK!!!

That's a really cool idea...and I think it would cut down on the bootlegging that he is so worried about.

I would be happy to pay $100 for 100 downloadable songs for the year if we get CD copies at the end of the year. Or, if we won't get CD copies, how about $100 for a song a day for the whole year, ie. 365 songs - we know he has them, and nobody could complain about quality control. Anytime you don't like a song, just wait until tomorrow...

Wow, that would be cool.
