DoesOne Nite Alone Live make up the 4cds 4 Year 2? NPGMC

I E-mailed that very question 2 NPGMC. And I just got my answer back, they basically said its up 2 Prince. So they didnt rule out the possibility of more cds this year.

The official word that I got from them was that ONA Live would indeed make up the 4cds for this year.

The fact that this consists of ONA and 2 live discs plus one FREE discs does not seem to have bothered them slightly..and the one remaining disc that is owed had been ignored.

You can bet that all this cack about "ONA - coming to a monitor near you soon" is just propoganda to get you to join up nxt year. they probably start advertising new stuff for 2003 very soon with a small disclaimer that read "NPGMC reserves the right to run off with your money whenevr we want"

Thats been the only thin missing for two years...might aswell make it official.

I wasn't aware the aftershow disc was 'free'. The 'ONA' piano album, plus the 'ONA ...Live!' 3 CD box-set clearly make up the 4 CD quota for the year.

I heard from a usually reliable source that there would be 'something' else after 'One Nite Alone...Live!'

I also have it on good authority that ALL the CD's mentioned in the tourbook were finalised (but not manufactured), by early spring this year. It's Prince's personal decision whether to shelve or release them.
(Though I also heard that 'Last December' was just an early version of 'One Nite Alone...Live!', so I guess we won't be getting that one).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 'Xenophobia'.

well apparently the box set was meant to be 3 discs and then they went on to say that one of the discs was an aftershow disc free and exclusive to members (which i took to mean that the reatil version was gonna be only 2 discs).

Now I may be wrong or things may have changed but,as far as I know, thats the plane. Surely it would have to be if its going on sale to the public for $50 but works out as $75 for members...theres gotta be something extra hasnt there?

Purpledoveuk has a point...

I expect the retail version of ONA Live to be a two disk set. The NPGMC version will have an exclusive bonus CD featuring the aftershow.

Now that's cool because that makes it exclusive. I have no problem with a 'live cd featuring songs we already have' because Prince's live interpretations of his songs breath new life into them (and lots of fans have been asking for a live CD for years).

I am now guessing that we will indeed receive:

1) ONA (1 album)
2) ONA Live + bonus aftershow (count as 2 albums)
3) another album, maybe Xenophobia (count as 1 album)
= 4 albums
'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

They don't count in albums. They count in discs, e.g. 3CD ONA Live = 3discs. Plus Piano CD = 4discs.

This doesn't make sense because Musiq is on the after show disc. Prince knows that having Musiq on his cd will sell a few more cds to the younger generation.
