Just recieved the below answer from NPGMC RE - my question below - Still does not tell us whether we will be due further CDs as part of our membership promise

That sounds like the box set counts as one item. Maybe there will be two more CD's then...

and maybe Lord Lucan will show up with Elvis and sing a duet live in Las Vegas...

That reply sounds VERY MUCH like the box set counts as one. So there ought to be 2 more CDs/Albums before Feb 2003

I hope so because that would make good business sense. Prince would deliver and everyone would renew membership for 2003.

NPGMC told me over the weekend that all memberships end at the end of 2002 so then we would have to join 2003 to get the elusive CD's.

Ive done more than my fair share of bitching about the club this year,it would have to be something quite spectacular to get me to join again next year

Don't get upset though.. if you don't like the "SuRpRiSe" that arrives at your doorstep and u still insist on a refund most credit cards will take care of it quickly given the companies bad history. No matter what good intentions Prince might have in wanting to surprise us, he's not going to be able to avoid all the refunds with letters like this and 3 lonely audio cds.

TO NPGMC: High, Don't you idiots know that even the smallest drone working for a business becomes a public representative all the way to the top when public statements are made?

All advocacy aside, my personal opinion on this whole comical charade is observing the sad mistake that was made by legal in attacking the fan-websites during a time there would be a long wait with little info for a not so exclusive product coming at the 11th hour of the membership. From the look of the shock, panic and concern in these hilarious threads, I think maybe this is what first triggered it.

Maybe he'll toss some fruit loops in the box !

Here's my 2 cents...

ONA live will NOT be included as 1 of the 4... in my opinion. This set will be hitting stores, for better or worse, for the holiday season for the public to buy.

The 3 aforementioned missing discs:

Xenophobia
The Best of
The Last December

will start trickling in 1 in December, 1 in January, and the last will end the membership in Feb.

I'm with you on this one Tackam and all the others that said wait.

I don't like NPGMC business practices, but they can't do s*** until Prince says so. And if he says so at the last minute then that's when it gets done.

Even at the Celebration, the musicians said they don't know what Prince is going to do from one second to the next.
