Electronic Petition

After months of reading about complaints about the club and poor service, I think it's time to go to the top. Somebody should be accountable for the performance and attitude of NPGMC and as paying members we should know who these people are.

So, does anyone know if there is a human working at the club or are they all humanoids programmed to send out stock replies to 'fam' questions.

Maybe we should prepare a letter that covers our biggest complaints and then e-mail it to the club, along with our 'fam' names. If we had a few hundred (or maybe more) names on the list it would be hard to ignore.

Even better, could someone going to see Prince live in the near future hand him a copy?

So far our individual appeals for answers have fallen on deaf ears, it's time to make them accountable.

I'm sorry to say this, but from the replies of the NPGMC that I read, it looks pretty obvious that they don't have much say on what going on, and just wait for orders from the Man.

No team of marketing droids?
It's not that simple?

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Consideringg the tons of complaining letters they must have received from all of us during the last 2 months, it's quite obvious that they KNOW we r unhappy. But eye think they don't have more i-d than we do with what Prince will decide 2 do about it, & it's likely they will only b able 2 tell him how mad we r when he comes back from Europe. So eye don't think a petition is necessary. All we can do now is wait & c, hoping dat Prince will send us 1 or 2 more CDs as a compensation 4 our waiting... Maybe the i-d would b 2 ASK 4 it in massive emales...

How much input do you think Prince really has at NPGMC? I would expect that his capacity is purely an artistic one and would not think he is involved with the business/management side.

Does anyone think otherwise?

What business/management side? It's not like they can HAVE a club without his CDs and/or tour dates, but there's no business on the web site called NPGMC. Gage Marketing is the closest thing to a 'business side' of the whole disorganization.

I would tend to believe Prince is making the final decision on when ONALive! is released within the club. I would doubt that he has handed it over to someone else & said "release it when you feel is the best time." I'm sure he has advisors plus lawyers working on the commercial sale of ONALive! & their advice is may be effecting the timing of the club release.

Here is my guess

Seeing the way Prince has run his businesses in the past...It would surprise me if the NPGMC was more than 3 people...of course I pulled that number out of a hat...

I bet he has:
An ISP.(least expensive way to run a site, pay someone to house it on THEIR server)
A webmaster.(who does all the art/creation/editing)
A person who does the email. (sends/screens/replies)

Outside the website/club:
Prince, and all accociated Paisley employees.(they create the music, and maintain the studio)
A manufacturer.(who burns mass amounts of CDs)
A distributer. (who packages and bulk mails the merchandise)

One special female, to keep the man warm at night. wink

HOW TO GET PRINCE'S ATTTENTION:

$$$NPGMC$$$

LOOK: you all who are dissatisfied customers, have to wake up: a "PETITION" is not going to do anything! Prince does not CARE what you think---it has been not only evident this past year with the club, but also in the recent "Commentary" where he shoots down the people who say what he "should" do, to the concerts themselves, where he says,"If you came to hear Purple Rain" forget it!!

Prince does not CARE what you think. HE IS IN CONTROL!!

Or is HE???

1) you should all go to your credit card company and DEMAND A FULL REFUND. GET YOUR $100 BACK, use the portion of that $100 to buy "ONE NITE ALONE LIVE" in shops when it comes out!

...NOT ONLY will you make the ONLY statement Prince will understand ($$$), but you'll get the SAME merchandise you would have anyway thru NPGMC, but NOT for $75, probably $35!

Prince will only get the PICTURE if you show what it'll take to be "#1 at the bank"!!

ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS BEING #1 AT THE BANK; if you make your statement by getting a refund, he WILL take note.A petition is a waste of time when the NPGMC obiviously has contempt for you.

"Take a stand,Radical Man!!!"

Remember: hit him in the wallet-it's the only way to make change!

Of course there's a business side, it's the part where you pay $100 a year for a service.

Also, for many members it has been a club with no CD's or tour dates. Fortunately I am not one of these. So far I have the following:

Rave Into the Joy Fantastic (remix/bonus version)
Rainbow Children
ONA

Two live dates, both with sound check, one with aftershow.

I think I've been lucky compared to others but it doesn't change the fact that as a fam-base generally I don't think the club shows enough respect to it's members and patronises us by going on about being 'organic'.

I even didn't get my ONA CD yet, and I joined the Club on the first day. Last year and this year too.

Judging by the amount of PRINCE loonies.. notice the non-use of the word fam... there will b a whole bus-load of Prince nutjobs who will join next year even if they get sent nothing.
Infact they will rabbit on about how it was the best nothing they ever got and the fact that they got front row seats that brought them closer to their nothing made it such a spiritual experience they cried with joy...
And they will say that the 4 CDS of nothing they didnt receive are much better than the old Prince stuff... bcuz thats what Prince says and they actually don't have their own opinions.

U'all get the drift.

these people should have their wages paid straight into Princes account.

Whateva the outcome this year 2002 npgmc, the whole thing has left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Nope. Trust me. Its only one or two "loonies" with alot of org. accounts My friend who was complaining directed me to the Minneapolis Star Tribune http://www.startribune.com
where you can write to opinion@startribune.com. They need to know that you already contacted the BBB and letters should be brief, to the point & up to 250 words. Commentary articles should be kept to 750 words with a request that it be published in the local business/ consumer page.

In actuality the average consumer hasn't yet used the BBB
http://www.mnd.bbb.org to look into companies not answering customers. The slippery company with many names is owned by NPG Records. They have helped me many times!
